"Rosie" he says softly.
"Adrian" I say and wait for him to reply.
"Rosie.....will you please be my date fo--" ..
My heart stops.
"Adrian yes yes okay I'll be your date, not because I like you or anything. Only because you want me to.." I go on like a parrot not knowing what to say and what not. I'm blushing too hard now.
I wait for a while but he doesn't say anything.
"Hello Adrian"
"Hello.." I say again
"Rosie what's wrong , where is this buggar" Caroline questions me.
"Is he ok, what is he saying?" Lizzy asks
"I think I lost my connection, the call is still on but I can't hear him" I say
"Adrian can you hear me....Adrian hello......"
"Cut the line and try calling him again,I'll call Noel and tell him that Adrian answered your call" Lizzy starts dialing Noels phone number and I cut the line and try calling him again.
He doesn't answer.
The phone is switched on but he doesn't answer my calls!
He just asked me to he his date! And now doesn't even answer my calls.
Weve been trying to contact him for a while now ,but he doesn't answer.
I'm starting to feel a little worried now.
"Oh Noel is calling,Adrian might have called him" Lizzy says and answers her call.
"He called you?" She says.
"Wait Noel don't panic" she says in a worried tone.
"Where are you people now"
Caroline and I make a questioning face at Lizzy.
"Ok we will get their as soon as possible ok."Lizzy says and cuts the line.
"Lizzy what's wrong? Is Adrian okay?"I ask.
"Caroline we need to go to park street right now, can we go in your car" Lizzy ignores my question and asks Caroline.
"yeah but what's going on" Caroline asks confused with the entire situation.
"I'll tell you guys now come on hurry up we need to go as fast as possible".
Lizzy rushes out and we follow her.
We get into Caroline 's car. I call my mother to tell her that I'll get a little late.
LIZZY TELL US WHAT HAPPENED NOW!!! I screem shaking her shoulder.
" Adrian met with an accident and has been hospitalised"
" WHAT!" Caroline says screeming.
I shook my head. This can't be true, he just asked me to be his date and the next moment he's hospitalised... I hope it's not a serious case.
"According to what Noel said it had been a critical accident" Lizzy says confirming my thoughts.
I join my hands and start praying my god please protect him. My heart starts beating too fast.
