Your POV

I watched Jerome as he looked around himself. Taking in his surroundings as his smile widened across his face. He was so beautiful and I can't believe I was able to spend this time with him. He had always been so sad and I never thought I would ever see the smile on his face.

Jerome: "Hey. Are you ok?"

As he turned around to see me. I couldn't help but smile and chuckle lightly to myself. The thought alone that just seeing him now can make me so happy. It was insane and definitely a new concept to even myself.

"I'm fine Jerome."

Jerome: "Are you sure? You look like your upset about something? Did I do something wrong, I'm sorry."

I saw his smile starting to fade and weaken. And that's when I did start to get upset. Seeing him be so happy and then just fall flat in an instant. It scared me I won't lie. That someone can flip their emotions in an instant without any warning. But the worst thing about it.

Jerome: "I'm sorry if I did something wrong. I don't want to see you upset I'm sorry please don't be angry with me."

"Jerome I'm not angry or upset."

Jerome looked up at me and I could swear I saw a tear start to form in his eye. It wasn't that he could flip his emotions so quickly, It wasn't the fact that he was like a ticking time bomb that could go off at any moment, I would love him in every way shape and form but right now I was a little scared as I realised something.

Jerome: "You know I could sit here. And completely devote myself to you, I can't stop thinking about you, Every time I'm supposed to be focusing on a video or focusing on a project I always end up with my thoughts drifting about you. About holding your hand and pulling you close to me, Stroking my thumb along the back your hand. How you would talk to me with your voice, And how you would hold yourself with so much confidence. You don't understand how much I miss you every day."

"I know Jerome. Which is why I want to make this special."

Jerome: "Every moment I spend with you is special."

I looked at him as I pulled him up from his knees. He had fallen and held my hands in front of him. He looks so upset and scared and I just needed to reassure him that it would be ok.

Jerome: "How long will we be here for?"

I had taken him to a beautiful park near my home. He wasn't able to come to me all that often. And because I had to work every day in a "Normal" Job. I wasn't able to just save up and see him. I want to so badly see him every day, But I guess that's what Skype is for.

"We will be here for as long as you feel like staying with me."

Jerome: "Then I hope I never go home. But I'm sure Ryan and Mitch would kick my ass."

"I know your so close with them. One day we can be together for longer than a few weeks at a time."

Jerome: "One day I'm going to hold your hand as we walk down the aisle. I promise."

"The Cereal aisle because you keep fucking stealing mine."

I started to laugh to myself and my sarcastic but I noticed him getting confused and upset with me.

Jerome: "I'm sorry."

He looked so down and I needed to remind myself that he didn't understand most jokes I made. Or at least he couldn't pick up on a joke from looking at my body language.

"It was a joke. You know I love you Jerome."

Jerome: "Oh sorry about that. I'm learning."

"You don't need to learn. I just need to be a bit more up front and tell you when I'm joking. I forget sometimes, You know we have talked about this."

Jerome: "Yeah I know but still."

"It's hard and yet we have still made this work. It's a surprise don't get me wrong. But I know we make it work, Even when everyone else was against us. Do you remember when Mitch said we wouldn't last?"

Jerome: "That was three years ago now."

"I still bring it up with him and he just laughs at me. I even have Jess and Ryan bringing it up randomly just to annoy him."

Jerome: "Your evil. Don't do that to him he might start to believe it."

"It was his words not mine. And besides I know he wouldn't get angry, He admitted he was mean to me at first but I'm happy with you. He said he notices how happy you are when your talking to me. It's beautiful Jerome."

He looked over at me and smiled his adorable and beautiful smile that he holds so well.

Jerome: "I'm starting to get bored and tired."

"Alright let's move on then."

Jerome: "Can we go home? I feel uncomfortable being around everyone."

"Yeah of course we can."

As I felt his hand link with my own. I couldn't help but smile towards him. As we began to walk I could tell he was getting impatient so I let go of his hand and ran forward. He stopped moving and watched me. As if trying to decipher why I would run off.

"Come on I'll race you home."

I saw a grin light up his face as he started sprinting instantly. I squealed once before turning around and started to run as fast as I could. I couldn't afford to let him win. He was already physically fitter than I was. I still think that was the one thing I was surprised the most about when it came to him and his friends. They complained they weren't fit and yet the only one I had met that was as bad as I was would have to be Rob. Even Lachlan seemed fitter than I was. Then again he's a stick. If he wasn't fitter then me I would be upset.

Jerome: "I'm going to get you so bad."

"No your not."

I started to push myself a little harder until I came to the corner of the street I lived on. I through my hand out and grabbed the street sign and used it as leverage to swing myself around the corner quickly. I slipped on the edge of the gutter and felt myself starting to stumble before I lost my footing and fell to the ground. I had slowed myself down a little but I couldn't keep going. I fell forward and turned myself to the side and slid along the asphalt on my shoulder and felt my ankle twist.

"AH FUCK!"

Jerome: "FUCK ARE YOU OK!"

"Yeah I'll be fine, My ankle is really sore though. It's so painful."

Jerome: "Here let me help you up."

I didn't get a chance to decline before he put his arms under my shoulders and slowly lifted me up and pulled me into his embrace. I flinched a little as he put his arm around me.

Jerome: "Fuck sorry, Just lean on me yeah? I'll get you home alright I promise."

"I trust you Jerome just hang on. My ankle is really sore. Fuck I think I've just twisted it,"

Jerome: "Well then let's get you home and safely in bed or on the couch and rest your foot then. How's your arm you took a hard tumble."

"I'm fine Jerome thank you. I just want to get home now. Relieve some pressure off my foot."

As I leaned in on Jerome I noticed he was really close to my lips. I know he wanted to kiss me but I needed to get home. And he knows that. We started half awkwardly hopping and limping our way back home.

Jerome: "Are you ok?"

"Jerome I'm fine. I promise you I'm just a little sore."

Jerome: "I love you so much."

"I love you too Jerome. I promise."
