The first lesson we had was Maths. I told Colton about Mr. Hart's ever present frown and that he gives out at least one detention every lesson and if he hates you he will make your year hell.

The bell went and we got into the lesson first so Colton could tell Mr. Hart that he is new.

"Ah, so this is the famous Colton Hughes. This is just a warning that I will not have any misbehaving in my lessons, is that clear?"

"Crystal." Colton said somehow containing his laughter.

"I'll put you next to Bennett so you can learn some manners from her." Mr. Hart told Colton.

"Wood can move over a seat." Sam smiled at me sadly but moved anyway. Colton sat down next to me and gave me a mischievous smirk.

I was taking notes about statistics when Colton's hand found its way to my hand. He began rubbing his thumb again the back of hand distractingly whilst still working with his other, looking at the board attentively.

Knowing that I wouldn't concentrate, I lent closer to him, "Colton stop." I said.

"Stop what?" He said acting innocent.

"I mean it stop." I said and detached his hand off my hand.

Instead of listening he took my hand again but just held it behind the desk as we worked.

For the rest of the lesson Colton behaved, even helping me with a few questions or equations that I had forgotten. We've always worked well together and doing school work is nothing different, we finished the exercise 10 minutes faster than I usually do.

Brad's POV:
We were at the entrance of school, almost everyone was waiting for Colton to arrive. A car came in but it was only that idiot Jordan. A second car came in but again it wasn't Colton. It was Samantha and a hotter version of the nerd. The nerd's friend, I think her name is Chloe went up to the nerd and they hugged.

Brooke walked up to the nerd and forcefully turned her around Brooke said something to the nerd but Alexandra didn't seem affected, Brooke then slapped Anna round the face.

"Ow, that must of hurt." The twins said.

Everyone had looked at the slap and didn't even notice that the new guy had arrived. All the girls that didn't have boyfriends or were part of LGBT+ all tried to get noticed by him but Colton just walked up to Anna and spun her around.

The nerd wrapped her arms round his neck on instinct. He let her down and they hugged. They talked together for a bit before the Colton Hughes, who got sent to Juvy for Murder, kissed the A* student, the shy nerd, Anna Bennett.

The nerd kissed him back and after a few second they stopped, Alexandra said something to Colton who replied and he hugged Samantha and did a bro hug with Jordan then the nerd said something again and Colton replied this time to Chloe who replied nervously from what I could tell. The nerd then took Colton inside with everyone still watching.

I had already got my books so when the bell went I walked straight to maths with Rick. The lesson was extremely boring but I tried to concentrate, I need to pass this subject well so I can get a good job.

A few minutes into the class and Anna and Colton walked in, she sat down in her seat as Colton walked up to Mr Hart's desk. Mr. Hart did his normal introduction of himself before going over the rules of his classroom, putting emphasis on the fact that he wouldn't tolerate any misbehaviour in his room. Colton told him that he understood whilst nodding. Colton was told to sit next to the nerd, so he could 'learn some manners'. Mr. Hart then started his boring lecture about statistics.

After about ten minutes I saw Colton move closer to the nerd by nudging his chair closer quietly. I nudged Rick who was almost asleep. Colton then put his hand on Anna's left hand and began to rub his thumb over the back of her hand she wasn't using to take notes. The nerd told him to stop but he said "Stop what?" Innocently.

"I mean it stop." The nerd said and he did. But soon after he started to poke her with a pencil or writing notes which she ignored.

When the lunch bell went everyone rushed out of their lessons and into the canteen to eat. The nerd who normal would sit alone was sitting with Chloe, Samantha, Jordan, Colton and most of the cheer squad. The cheer squad were all fighting for Colton's attention but he was only noticing Anna.

"Let's go over it might be interesting." Rick said, we all nodded. We all sat down, everyone else looked shocked, we never sit with other people or sat at another table.

"Hi, I'm Brad." I introduced myself.

"Colton," he said but turned straight back to Anna. The whole of lunch was like that, people asking him questions, him giving short answers then turning back to Anna.

As the bell went Freddy exclaimed, "That was a total waste of time."

"Yeah." The twins agreed, I nodded as well as Rick. The rest of school was boring so I zoned out.

Alex's POV:
Lunch was so annoying today, it was slightly better with Colt but with the cheer squad and Brad and his mates joining it was just annoying.

After school I helped Colton with moving back into his parent's house, unfortunately his Dad died when Colton was two and his Mum died a week before Colton got arrested. All of their money, possessions and their mansion was passed down to Colton. After helping him sort out the things he wanted and it was where it was where'd he wanted it we had dinner, Colton's cooking is the best.

We had dinner before we went to the living room were we just talked, I explained what he had missed while he was away as we cuddled on the sofa. I was so glad to have him back with me. We had missed out on two years together so I was determined to treasure every moment I have with him now. Colton went to the other school in the area and hadn't met most people at this one so I told him who hangs out with who, which teachers were friendly or which ones were better to avoid, the clubs he could join and where all the best spots were to spend time in outside of lessons.

After, we turned on the TV and began to watch two films that he had missed which he was interested in watching from a list I had recorded for him whilst he was away before getting ready for bed and going to sleep.
