Kaneki placed Hide's body down in the cold snow and slowly started walking away. "...Dammit Hide....now I'm crying..." Kaneki wiped his eyes and continued walking. "Inami...I need to save her. I'm not losing two people tonight.." Kaneki remembered where she was and hurried there. The strong scent of blood filled his nose. Even though his mouth watered, he did not feel hungry. Kaneki cautiously made his way back to the center of town. "She's gone?" Kaneki said noticing the shell being opened. Dead. Half eaten bodies were all over the ground. Kaneki looked around until he heard and crunching noise. As if someone were eating.
Then a loud thud from behind him. The upper half of a body fell off the roof. Kaneki examined it and saw it's eyes were gone and the side of the mouths were ripped. Kaneki looked up to see multiple red glowing eyes. They pierced him like knives. Big wing unfolded and the figure glided across the the dark sky to the other side of town. "Inami? Please...I can't...I can't fight you. Not now.." Inami climbed down the building like a spider. "And why is that?" A deep voice came from her shoulder. "Are you giving up?" A more higher pitch came from her neck.
"That's not it...I lost my best friend. I don't want to lose you to.." Inami laughed and landed on the ground. She stayed in the shadows. Her Rinkaku grabbed him and held him up high. "There is no saving me. I'm already dead." Kaneki shook his head. "I will still try! Inami I want to be happy with you and Yuki. I want us to be together.." Inami flung him across the street and into a building. She flew over to him and picked him back up and kicked him across the other way. Kaneki wiped the blood from his nose and still got up. "Do whatever you want! I still want to be with you." "We'll see..I'm hideous." Inami walked closer and under a street lamp. Kaneki saw her many eyes and her mouths. He came closer. "No..your beautiful...." Inami growled and hit him in the ground. "LIAR!!!" Kaneki broke free from her and ran at her. Inami growled but Kaneki wrapped his arms around her.
Inami gasped and tried to get him off. "DON'T MTOUCH ME!" "But why?....I always want to touch you..and hold you." Inami stopped resisting and stood there. "I'm going to die anyways...just let me go..." Kaneki shook his head. Inami knocked him off her self. She backed up. A loud sound came from the eastern part of town. Inami's eyes looked around until she saw the Owl. Inami's wings got her off the ground. She started going in that direction despite Kaneki was calling for her to stop. "INAMI!!" She turned around and stared at him with all eyes. "If you want to find me. Go to V14." Inami was soon gone and Kaneki started leaving. "V14? Why is she going there?"
Inami saw Arima and Eto fighting. She came from behind and wrapped her Rinkaku around her neck. Inami choked Eto and knocked her down. Arima tossed a Quinque at her. Inami grabbed it in mid air and rammed it into Eto's one big eye. She started laughing and knocked Inami off. "Ehehe~ Your so ugly and cruel! Just how I raised you. Better than your father." Inami shot shards from her ukaku and cut off Eto's arm. She growled as Inami cut off her tongue next. Eto gritted her teeth and slammed Inami into the ground. Eto got away and jumped off the side of the building. Inami followed her as well. Arima started leaving and heading towards V14. Inami saw Eto grab and eat Yoshimura. She followed her but Eto was faster. Eto spit her father out once she was far away. "Disgusting." Eto said changing back to her original form. "Eto..." "Father~" Inami came up behind her and twister her neck so her face was looking right at her. Inami ripped her head off and tossed it. "In..am..i?" Yoshimura said weakly. "Sorry....." Inami left and headed to where Kaneki and her father were heading.
