Prologue

Nami's POV

Day 1

"~She got me going crazy wae shimjangi ttwini neon areumdawo naye Goddess dacheo itji Yeah yeah...~"

"Aaaahh~ Baekhyun and D.O. are so good!" my best friend Jung Soo Kyung fangirled.

Soo Kyung was sleeping over today, right now she's in my room while I just finished my shift in the family restaurant. I decided to go upstairs to my room where Soo Kyung was watching TV. You could literally hear her from downstairs.

"Ya Soo Kyung! What in the world are you screaming about?" I asked as I entered the room, finding Soo Kyung in front of the TV. "Ah, you're watching that boy band again?"

"Sung Je Won. These people aren't just any kind of boy bands. They're EXO. Like the most famous k-pop boy band in the world!" she squealed.

I scoffed, "That's an exaggeration. And I told you not to call me that."

She gave me a big smile and patted the seat next to her on my bed telling me to sit down and watch. I could do that. And the problem is that I don't want to. But looking at her face made me sigh. She won. As always.

I took the seat next to her and started watching.

"I guess they're kinda good at dancing," I said.

"See? I told you so. You see that guy in the middle?" Soo Kyung pointed at the TV.

I nodded in reply. "That's Oh Se-hun, also known by his stage name, Sehun. He's the youngest out of all of them."

I nodded again. As I looked closer, Sehun was pretty good looking. He's really tall, almost 6 feet. I looked at Soo Kyung and told her to continue on.

"That other guy in the left, that's Suho. He's the leader of the group. He's my second favorite member." She squealed again as I rolled my eyes.

"Okay okay, who's that guy?"

A few minutes passed by as Soo Kyung introduced and explained each and every one of them. Surprisingly, I was paying attention. I learned six more members, Chanyeol, Kai, DO, Lay, Baekhyun, and Xiumin. Xiumin was Soo Kyung's favorite. He's the eldest in the group. (As so I've heard). ;-;

"So that's it?" I asked.

"Nope, there's one more I'm missing." She said. "There." She pointed.

"~Don't be afraid, love is the way. Shawty I got it, you can call me monster...~"

The last member she pointed out was Kim Jong-Dae, or Chen as his stage name. I'd say he was more attractive than the others and he definitely caught my attention.

"Ya, Nami! Are you even listening?" Soo Kyung snapped.

"Huh? Did you say something?" I looked at her clueless.

She smirked at me and told me I had a crush on Chen. "What? No way. Never in a million years. I don't like boy bands." I stood up from the bed and started preparing to go to sleep.

"Liar! You know that song you always listen to? Heaven? That's them who sang it! Chen is the one who sings first in the song."

"Whatever you say."

"Ya! Don't walk away from me!"

A few hours later we both fell asleep. While waiting for me to awaken, I shall tell you guys a little more about myself. To start, my name is Sung Je Won but everyone calls me Nami. I'm 19 years old and I work at a small restaurant called Won's which is my family's restaurant. My (only) best friend is Jung Soo Kyung, you've met her. She's the crazy XO fan or whatever you call that group. I live with my parents and my grandmother but they are away on a short trip. So for now, it's just me and Soo Kyung.
