Juliana's P.O.V.

We walked into the dressing room and Lou was pacing back and forth on her phone. She looked up and the panic left her face. "Jesus, there you are! I thought you weren't coming back!"

"Sorry. We got a little... Distracted." Niall smirked at me and I felt the heat rising in my cheeks. "But I'm here now so let's hurry this up." He walked over to the chair and Lou immediately began styling him, pushing his hair up off of his face. Niall must've seen the frown etched on my face because he spoke up. "Can you flatten my hair? I'm not really feeling the whole big hair thing tonight."

"Of course." Lou said, patting Niall's hair down into his forward. I smiled at my feet and fiddled with my hands. "You like it like this, don't you?" Lou asked.

"Me?" I asked. She nodded and I grinned. "Yeah. A lot."

"I only know that because ever since you two became a thing, this is the only way he'll wear his hair. He's whipped." She laughed.

"Hey, I am not whipped." Niall argued. "If it makes her happy then I'll do it."

"That's called being whipped, Niall." She corrected. "You're completely gone." My heart fluttered at her words. Niall wasn't falling for me. We had been together for a week. A week is not long at all. That shouldn't even be enough time to develop a crush on someone. But I guess I could be wrong. I mean, we started dating four days after we met. Funny how things work out.

"You're thinking too much, Juliana." Niall said, breaking me from my daydream.

"Sorry." I blushed. He knew so much about me and it scared me. I suddenly felt the need to push him away. I didn't want him to get even closer, then just leave. I would be shattered. "Lou, can I use that straightener?" I asked, pointing at the black flat iron.

"Of course." I quickly straightened my hair then put on some mascara and foundation. There was no way fans would see me without my blemishes being covered. My acne came from stress, but Niall was nice enough to ignore it. After I finished getting ready, Niall was almost done changing. "5 minutes, Niall." Lou reminded.

"I know, I know." He scoffed, buttoning his black jeans. I couldn't help but stare as he pulled off his hoodie then replaced it with a black t shirt. He was wearing all black and I know he did it on purpose. He even had black converse on. He put his black glasses on and smirked at me. "Are you done watching the show?" He chuckled. I put my hand on my face and giggled.

"You and your black. I swear." I sighed, walking toward the door. "Come on, you're going to be late." Niall followed me out the door and wrapped his arm around my waist. I flinched, but let his arm rest there. I was really uncomfortable but I felt bad.

"You don't like this, do you?" He smiled. I shook my head and he let go of my torso. Instead, he wrapped his hand around mine. "God, my girlfriend won't even let me touch her. What did I do to deserve this." He joked.

"I'm sorry." I frowned. I knew he was joking but I couldn't help but feel bad. This was just another thing I did to push him away. The less he clung to me the better. I really did love Niall. Obviously not like real love, but I loved him. I didn't want to break up with him or anything. I just didn't want to let him get too close. "While you're at meet and greets can I just walk around a little?" I asked.

"Yeah, but we'll need to get one of the guys to follow you. Sorry."

"I'll be fine alone. I swear." I didn't want someone following me around. I just needed to be alone.

"I can't let you go out alone. You might get hurt." He frowned.

"I'm pretty sure I'm capable of staying in one piece for an hour, Niall." I said shortly.
