Heracles knocked on Kiku's door. It wasn't opened right away, and he took the time to look down at the small black kitten in his arms. He knew his best friend would love it.
Kiku opened the door. "Hello? Oh, hello, Heracles. Would you like to come in?"
The taller man smiled and nodded, and Kiku stood aside so he could come in. But as soon as he did he froze.
"You!" Heracles growled at Sadik Adnan. The other man just smirked rudely.
"Me. Anything else to add, smartass?"
Heracles wrapped a strong arm around Kiku, careful of the kitten he was still holding. Kiku squeaked at the sudden contact.
"Mine." Heracles said firmly. Then he handed him the small black kitten. Sadik left, frowning and promising to call Kiku later.
Not if I have anything to do with it, Heracles thought mildly.
