Harry: "I'm taking Vikk with me. I already have some ideas with what I want to do."

Vikk: "Do I get a choice in the matter?"

Harry: "Nope."

Vikk looked slightly sad but quickly started laughing when Harry took him seriously. Vikk pulled the taller boy into a hug before kissing him on the cheek. Harry dragging him off by the hand.I'm glad those two were able to be honest with each other.

Simon: "I think I'm going to start vomiting Rainbows."

Josh: "Oh come on can you not crack a joke every time they are happy."

Simon: "I don't crack jokes all the time. I'm happy for them. I just get awkward. It's silly I know. Anyway JJ your going down."

The two walked off doing their own thing. Leaving me with Josh and Ethan.

Ethan: "I think I'm going to go hunt down Tobi. No one else is on their own. No reason for him to be as well."

Ellie: "Have fun."

He walked off with his phone in his hand. Probably getting a hold of the elusive goalie.

Josh: "Now that we are alone. What do you want to do?"

He pulled me into his side with his arm across my shoulders. Like a shoulder hug. I couldn't help but smile at him.

Ellie: "I'm not too big on the rides and stuff. But I'll ride them with you."

Josh: "I think I want to relax as well. Why don't we find some smaller games to play?"

Ellie: "Ok sure."

As we walked along the grassy field. Little faery lights littered the trees. It was quite amazing. It was really sweet. The stalls set up with some small and some large toys hanging from the roof. Littered along the walls and set up on little tables towards the back. Even though it was a small scale Carnival. It still looked really neatly put together. Nothing was too spaced out. Yet nothing was too compacted. It was really nice. I couldn't help but let my eyes go wide as I spotted a beautiful little teddy bear. It was brown with a cream coloured stomach and black padded feet. It looked so cute. It wasn't too big. And it would be a perfect fit in my arms.Josh must have noticed me watching it. As we started to get closer. I pulled my purse out of my hand bag that was strapped over my shoulder and opened it up ready to pay to play. But Josh had beaten me to it.

Josh: "You have a purse and a bag to go through. I'm good with my wallet. Come on let's go. I didn't think you would be good at these games."

I looked ahead and realised it was only three milk jugs sitting on a small table. Elevated off the ground. They looked solid.

Josh: "Here."

He passed me a ball. I wasn't expecting the ball to be so heavy. I had almost dropped it even though Josh moved his hand under my own so I wouldn't drop it.

Ellie: "It's pretty heavy."

Game Owner: "It makes the game a little more fair. We go around to many towns and sometimes we also take our carnival overseas. We don't like the stigma that the games are seen as impossible. So we like to make it fair for both the players and us as it is still a job for us."

Josh: "That's one way to look at it. Come on have a throw."

I looked up at him as he dropped his hand from mine. I felt the weight of the ball in my hands and tried to pretend like I was weighing my options. No pun intended. I lifted my arm and threw it as hard as I could. I hit the top one knocking it over but the bottom two hadn't moved.

Game Owner: "Oh you were very close. Here have another try with the ball. This time aim a little lower. And you should be good."

He gave me the ball I just threw and I thanked him for it. Josh held my hand and stood behind me. Before he grabbed me around the waist into a hug.

Josh: "You got this."

I giggled a little at him as he stepped aside. I aimed the ball as best as I could and gave it a launch. I hit the two bottom bottles knocking them over. But something in the world said"nope. Fuck you Ellie" And the top bottle fell to the bottom and stayed standing. I must have hit the two bottom bottles hard to knock them out of the way for the top one to fall and land perfectly on the bottom. Josh and the owner both started to laugh before they stopped.

Game Owner: "To be honest. I have never seen that happen. As all three have not been knocked over I can't count it as a win I'm sorry."

Ellie: "It's fine I understand."

Game Owner: "Alright young man your up. Good luck mate. No free balls for you though."

Josh: "It's fine. Here we go."

I watched as he pulled his arm back and launched the first ball. And he missed the bottles completely. I laughed at him before he hefted the last ball in his hand. He looked at me and giggled before he pulled it back and just threw the ball. This time knocking the three bottles over. I couldn't help but jump and cry out in happiness. Even the game owner cheered and clapped for him.

Game Owner: "Well done young man. You can choose anything you want here."

Josh: "I'll take the teddy bear over there. The brown one with the cream stomach. Hm. Blue eyes."

As the Owner walked over and grabbed the teddy bear,Josh walked over to me and pulled me into a hug. I was still cheering.

Ellie: "Josh that was so cool."

Josh: "I'm only knocking some balls over it's not that impressive."

Ellie: "It's still awesome that you won."

Game Owner: "Here you go Ma'am. I'm going to assume the teddy bear is for you. Good luck with any other games you guys play. And have fun."

Josh: "Thank you."

Ellie: "Thank you so much."

We waved to the gentlemen before we started to walk off towards a food pop up stand. I held the bear close to my chest as I cherished what Josh had just won. He spent money on a game. A game of luck and chance. And had pulled a win and won me the most adorable little bear. I was so happy.
