This was it.

Your moment to shine.

The clink of mugs, spoon and forks were echoing in your ears. Your small audience clapped for you, signaling that you were supposed to start pretty soon. In that little cafe, you were going to sing to the public for your very first time.

You dream big, and you want to be a singer. You did, but your skills were quite limited. Your stiff fingers can't get around guitar frets, piano keys, or wind intstruments. Your (e/c) couldn't read music notes. But, just by hearing a note, you can sing it perfectly in tune. You had what people call 'perfect pitch'. And your voice was like an angel's.

You open your dry mouth and lyrics started flowing out of it, your beautiful voice leaking out with it too. You nervously began singing.

I dreamed a dream in time gone by
When hope was high and life worth living
I dreamed that love would never die
I dreamed that God would be forgiving

Then I was young and unafraid
And dreams were made and used and wasted
There was no ransom to be paid
No song unsung, no wine untasted

By now, you felt completely relaxed.

But the tigers come at night
With their voices soft as thunder
As they tear your hopes apart
And they turn your dream to shame

Still I dream he'd come to me
That we would live the years together
But there are dreams that cannot be
And there are storms we cannot weather

I had a dream my life would be
So different from this hell I'm living
So different now from what it seemed
Now life has killed the dream I dreamed

Your voice trailed off, and soon, shrieks, claps, cheers, and whistles were being thrown at you by the crowd. Tears of joy welling up in your eyes, you bow down. "THANK YOU, EVERYBODY!!"

You were a very shy girl indeed, and you immediately ran out of the cafe, slightly overwhelmed by the crowd. Well, you were overwhelmed enough as to not notice someone come after you from the cafe. You stood outside, wiping the tears from your eyes. 'This day CAN'T get any better!'

But, God was going to prove you wrong.

"M-MISS!!"

You look back to see a slightly muscular man with dark chocolate hair. His olive green eyes were twinkling at you, much to your embarassment. He was also very good-looking. He was smiling at you, causing your (s/c) face to blush.

"U-uh.. Miss?"

"Y-y-yes?"

"Your performance... It was.. Beautiful.. Beautiful didn't even begin to desccribe it!!"

You focused your gaze on his face. You could swear he was blushing.

"W-why, thank you, Mr..?"

"O-oh! Just call me Antonio."

"Okay, Antonio, I'm ______."

"Si. Nice to meet you chica!"

"N-nice to meet you.."

"So, um.. Ms.______, I am Antonio, and I am an agent at a talent agency. I think you have a great amount of talent, and I want to sign you to a record company. Well, if you'd like to take up the offer.."

He pulled a business card out from his jacket, and handed it to you.

"Call this number."

You nod and thank him, your face blushing madly. Antonio smiles and winks at you before going off on his way. He waves goodbye as you walk away from the cafe too. Feeling the business card in your hand, you grin widely. 'Antonio seems nice. And the offer is too good to pass on.. Wow, this day just CAN'T get any better!'
