I wake up on my own, my whole body aching. I get up. I sigh to myself and take a shower. I see the dried blood on my skin. I cringe and wash it off. After the shower, I get changed into a comfy outfit of a turtleneck, which I hate, but have to wear and brush my l/o/s, H/C hair. I style it, very simple and head downstairs. I know he'll want the house clean when he returns, so I clean up the house. Not to my surprise, it's mostly beer bottles and vomit, which I almost throw up myself from cleaning. I finally finish. I plop down on the couch and rest. I doze off a bit. I wake up to the should of my doorbell ringing.

Who's here's? I wonder to myself. I get up and walk to the door. I open it to find Aaron!

"Hello. What bring you here?" I ask. I feel soooo much better that I cleaned up.

"My mom wanted me to meet the people on the street. Guess I already knew one." He smiles.

"Guess so. Is that all?" I ask.

"Since I caught you, I wanted to see if you wanted to hang out later." My grip on the door gets tighter.

"Umm... Not the best idea. I told you before, I'm not well liked. I'm sure you can make other friends. Sorry."

"I don't care. I tend to ignore what people think of me."

"Maybe later. Sorry."

"It's fine. Just know I don't believe the stories. Bye F/N."

"Bye Aaron." I close the door. I sigh. Someone might find out my secret now. I probably would have gone with Aaron, but the bruises from my father aren't gone. I don't know if I can trust him. I hope I can. He seems nice.

Once Monday rolls around my bruises are gone. I'm thankful for it. I get ready and head out to school. I see Aaron walking. I don't call out to him.

"Hey F/N." He says.

"Hi." I say.

"How was your weekend?"

"I'm telling you Aaron, you'll have a better rep without me."

"I'm telling you F/N, I don't care." I smile inside.

"In this case, you should."

"Too bad." He doesn't leave me alone until we have different classes. I'm happy that he's being nice. I just don't want him involved with my crap. He even sits with me at lunch. I hear a tray being placed down. I look up to see him.

"May I sit here?" He asks.

"I'm not stopping you." I say.

"Thanks." He smiles.

"Yep." A lot of people are looking at us, but Aaron doesn't seem affected by it. I smile at the thought. It's quiet in here. No is talking. They'll all looking at us.
