Manik was sleeping peacefully when he felt her hand tracing on his cheeks , then his nose , as she moved her hands to his neck tracing his nape , he smiled and instantly pinned him beneath her while her eyes widened in shock
"What do you think you're doing ? " He asked huskily in his sleepy voice
"Uhmm nothing .... main kya kar sakti hun , I was just adoring you.." she whispered
"Oh acha ! Toh theek se adore karo na , I'm awake now !" He teased but she pushed him away and escaped out of his grasp and he smirked as she got out of bed
"Wait , what the hell !" Manik yelled looking at himself in the mirror
"Nandini murthy I m going to kill you !" He growled angrily looking at his face full of colour
"Happy holi manik malhotra !" Nandini yelled and ran outside and he followed
"Kya hua manik ? Aur adore karun ?" She yelled as he ran behind her going in circles around the living room
"You are so gone today miss girlfriend !" He yelled as he grabbed her and pulled her close
"Clean this up !" He ordered pointing at his face and she giggled and nodded in a no
"Fine u wanted to play holi na here you go !" He grinned and rubbed his cheek on her face

"Happy holi love..." he whispered in her ear
"Happy holi manik" she replied as she hugged him
"Now clean this up !" Manik yelled
"In your dreams lover boy" nandini said pushing him away with a smirk and moved to the kitchen
"Babu cabir called twice reminding me about the holi party I college " he said munching on his toast while she choked on her juice
"Kya hua ? Are you ok ?" He asked rubbing her back
"That's exactly my question ! Are you ok ?" She chuckled
"Huh ?"
"You just called me babu , manik malhotra doesn't do such lovey nicknames as far as I know " she giggled and he rolled his eyes
"Just a slip of tongue I guess or..."
"Or ?" Nandini asked
"Or maybe I'm a bit more in love with you this morning , can't really tell " he replied with a wink and she smiled
"Manik malhotra enough of this , get ready we have to leave in 20 " she said and hit his head playfully
"Yes boss" he replied with a salute
COLLEGE
Manan entered the college to witness the garden full of students playing crazy wild holi and then came a scream
"Manik bachao !" Aliya yelled as she hid behind manik to save herself from dhruv
"Easy Al !" Manik chuckled
"Easy ? Seriously malhotra , your idiot friend is after my life ! He's been hitting me with water balloons ever since I've walked in !" Aliya yelled and just then she saw dhruv aiming at her so she hid behind manik nd the balloon hit manik
"Oh dude you're so dead !" Manik yelled as he grabbed a water gun and ran behind dhruv while aliya and nandini burst out laughing
"Happy holi nandini " came a voice from behind and she turned around to see Raj standing
"Happy holi sir " she replied with a smile
"Excuse me guys .." aliya said and moved to look for mukti
"So I couldn't congratulate you that day , so congratulations " Raj said
"Uhm thank you sir and I am sorry for the way I behaved with you that day in niyonika aunty's office and all the other times , I didn't know what I was doing , I am just really ..."
"Sensitive when it comes to manik ?" Raj completed
"Uhmm yeah a little .." she stammered
"Maybe a lot more than little "Raj chuckled and nandini was flushed in red
"I guess " she managed to blurt
"Well enjoy the party and yeah happy holi" Raj wished
"Yeah happy holi to you too sir"
"Nandini murthy you are expelled form s.p.a.ce !" Raj muttered
"What !"
"What ? What , niyonika ko aunty bolti ho but I am still "sir" , call me uncle samjhi , else you're expelled !" Raj mocked and nandini burst out laughing
"Sure uncle" she replied with a smile
"What's going on fellas !" Manik asked walking towards them
"Nothing much son , bas kisi ko practice karwa raha hun ke mujhe uncle kaise bole , abhi uncle bolne ki aadat daal le gi toh future main DAD bolna easy ho jaye ga na !" Raj mocked and nandini almost choked while manik's eyes popped out
"Dad !" Manik growled
"Happy holi love birds !" Raj laughed and left while manik and nandini froze to their places and suddenly burst out laughing
"God I have a crazy family !" Manik sighed while laughing
"Wait until you meet mine !" Nandini chuckled and suddenly two buckets of colour water was emptied on both of them
"Happy holi !" Mukti and cabir yelled and after manan realised what happened they looked at each other
"Oh its on !" The both said in unison as they ran behind both of them with their hands full of colour
Nandini pulled cabir's collar and pulled him as she colored his face with color
"Navya !" Nandini yelled as navya brought a bucket full of paint and threw it over cabir and both of them pushed him in the pool and burst out laughing
"It's not over yet we have another one !" Came manik's voice from behind and there he was with mukti on his shoulder trying to get out of his grasp but in vain as he ran forward and threw mukti in the pool as well
"What are you laughing at ?" Manik asked looking at nandini
"What do you mean ?" Nandini asked another nd before she could realise she was in manik's arms as he jumped into the pool
"Manik malhotra !" Nandini yelled as she slapped his chest
Cabir got out of the pool and left somewhere while everyone was enjoying after a while the gang was tired as they sat to catch their breath until awhile waiter came and offered them drinks and they gulped it down while cabir had an evil smirk on his face
