Nandini woke up due to the constant ringing of her alarm as she tried to sit up but in vain and that is when manik came in

"Oh great ! Finally you're up" he said as her got inside with a try in his hand

"My head it feels like it's gonna burst !" She sighed while holding her head

"It's ok , take this you feel better !" Manik said as he handed her a glass of lemonade

"Last night....dare....shots....drama ? God last night doesn't make any sense !" nandini murmured 

"its ok pehle lemonade piyo then we'll talk" he said as he sat next to her and wrapped an arm around her rubbing her arm while she rested her head on his shoulder 

"well if you're not feeling that well toh aaj college skip kar sakte hain " manik suggested

"nahi nahi , mera important lecture hai aur mujhe tumhare math project ke liye kuch books leni hain woh zyada important hai so no chutti for me !" she sighed

"are you sure ? itna important nahi hai yeh sab" he said

"I am sure but kya tum theek ho ?" she asked

"han ... kyun ?" 

"nahi woh you look a bit disturbed , maine buhat tang kiya kya raat ko ?"

"uff poocho mat , pehle toh ab bar counter pe charh kar Dharmendra ban gayi thi , you called me Basanti ! , like seriously ?" he said and she burst out laughing

"why are you laughing ?" he asked

"nahi kuch nahi I was just imagining you in Basanti's Ghagra Choli !" she said between her laughs

"seriously nandini !" manik said as he took the empty glass from her hand 

"acha acha monster ab gussa mat ho jana aage bolo !"

"okay so then you created a chaos in the car , screamed out of the window , told me to call myself a fool , then made me dance in the middle of the street and last but not the least you got me to carry you all the way up here on my back because the elevator was out of order !" manik informed and nandini's jaw dropped

"OMG! i really troubled you so much , I am so sorry manik !" nandini apologised 

"aye dont apologise for anything , its ok bas dobara itni mat peena please !" manik mocked 

"nahi manik , i am serious right now , main buhat trouble karti hun na tumhe , you had bear so much because of me ...." she said apologetically and manik pulled her close 

"maine bola na dont apologise for anything ." he said and cupped her cheek 

"par manik .." 

"shh chup bilkul warna i might just end up kissing you to shut you up !" manik blurted and nandinis eyes bulged out of their sockets

"now listen to me very carefully , tum se zyada kuch important nahi hai , tum khush hoti ho toh main khush rehta hun , tumhari yeh badi badi ankhon se jab aansu girte hain na , it hurts right here" he said pointing towards his chest 

"yesterday for the first time , I felt that you actually feel that you have a right on me , the way you were ordering me , commanding me , throwing tantrums for me to deal with them I wasn't irritated , I was happy that it was me whom you needed , you really are mine nandini.." manik said in the most genuine tone and nandini wrapped her arms around him instantly , pulling him in a hug with all her energy
