MANAN FF "ROOM MATES"

SETTLING SCORES !

It was almost midnight and manik was hell tired after the morning drama , a long day at college and then work as he got out of the elevator and stood in front of the door of his apartment , he inserted his key in the key hole

"All I am gonna do now is go in , take a nice warm shower and crash to bed , perfect plan " he thought to himself

He swiftly opened the door and SPLASH!!! , a bucket full of water that was hung finely with the physics of the door was now empty on his head as he was drenched from head to toe , he stood their breathing heavily in anger as this was definitely not the shower he was thinking about  and the next thing was that he stormed towards Nandini's room and as he reached the door he saw a note stuck on it , he took it off and read it

Haww bechara manik bheeg gaya awlelelelel poor thing , ab tum gusse main darwaza khol ke andar aao ge mujhe meri pyaari si neend se jagao ge , phir tum mujh pe chillao ge , main tum pe chillaun gi aur agle din humare neighbours unki neend kharab karne ke liye hum pe chillain ge toh iss se better toh yeh hee ho ga ke na tum abhi nahi but subah mujh pe chilla lo ok  waise bhi kal Saturday hai pure din ho ga larne ke liye, toh ab apne room main jao change karo aur mujhe curse karte karte so jao kyunki I don't think you need a shower now....... no problem manik is ke liye tum kal mujhe thanks bol sakte ho , ok good night aur han

"Seriously , kya dushmani hai aapko mujhse ? I thought i might live in peace after coming from that house but no aapko toh yeh aafat bhejni thi na meri life main" manik said with a sigh looking towards the ceiling talking to god

He unwillingly spared nandini for the night as even he was too tired for anymore pranks for the day , it was early morning and manik was sleeping peacefully when he heard a perfectly mesmerising voice coming from outside he instantly got put of bed and went out of his room and saw nandini in the balcony with her veena

her morning practice session was disturbed as soon as she felt an intense gaze on her , she instantly opened her eyes but saw no one there

Manik's P.O.V

The sun rays disturbed my sleep as I snuggled a bit more into my duvet , I was about to sleep again when I heard this amazingly melodious , beautiful , soothing , fascinating voice , I couldnt resist as I got out of my bed and walked towards the living room to find nandini singing in the balcony with her veena on her lap , for a while I was just lost , lost in her music , lost in the fact that she looked so beautiful with morning breeze in her hair , the early morning sunlight that was reflecting on her face letting it glow more than usual , her eyes closed and her beautiful lips ...... wait what the hell am I even thinking , get back in  your  senses manik  i commanded my brain and left instantly but dude to some reason her voice kept echoing in my ears , I looked at my phone to see the time and to my surprise it was just 6:30 so I decided to go back to sleep and after scolding my brain once again to think that way about that jungli billi I slowly fell asleep but then almost half an hour later I hear loud music , like really loud and irritating music , now what the hell is she up to ! I sighed as I got out of bed fiercely

END OF P.O.V

Manik went outside to find nandini in her exercise gear

" what the hell is wrong with you murthy ! , turn the volume down" manik said turning the volume of the music player down

"What's the matter with you malhotra tumhe itna problem hai toh tum so jao don't bug me ok !" Nandini replied

"Sone ki hee koshish kar raha tha until you planned to damage my ear drums with this idiotic music aur tum itni subah subah kar kya rahi ho huh? " manik asked in and annoyed tone

"Manik malhotra ise aerobics kehte hain A-E-R-O-B-I-C-S , exercise ki kind hai , good for health aur normal log subah subah hee exercise karte hain !" Nandini replied in her stern tone turning the volume high again

"Normal log Saturdays ko sote bhi hain , toh now if you don't mind , wait why am i asking , just turn your stupid volume down !" Manik shouted

"Tumhara problem hai toh you deal with it I am not going to turn the volume down!" Nandini shouted back and continued with her exercise

Manik was super irritated as he just grabbed the CD put of the music player and headed towards his room to be pushed by nandini towards the wall

"Manik meri CD wapas karo" nandini said while jumping to reach his hand which he had raised up high to keep it out of her reach

"N-O no " manik said raising his hand higher

Finding no other option nandini tip toed on his feet in order to get the hold of the CD but she lost her balance and was about to fall and she closed her eyes in fear , when suddenly a strong arm held her and jerked her close to him , she opened her eyes to find her self in manik's arms and his gaze on her she was lost in his deep chocolaty eyes for a while but then she quickly snatched her CD from his hand and because his hold was tight on the CD his finger got a deep cut

"hsss ouch " manik hissed in pain

And she instantly grabbed his finger and suck the blood without caring about anythinh , isaac newton stated "every action has an equal and opposite reaction " , well thus theory is true for sure , nandini was gently caressing his finger and he was too numb looking at her to react , she wasn't doing it out of guilt but concern , genuine concern , where did this slight pinch of concern come from none of them knew

"Woh i am sorry i didn't mean to.." nandini said apologetically

"it's Fi..." he was interrupted

"Just stay here I'll get a bandage " she said as she ran into her room and a slight smile appeared on his face looking at her concern

She came back with a small bandage in her hand and carefully placed it over his finger and she looked up at him and got lost in his gaze unknowingly his hand went across her waist and pulled her close , he brushed his fingers from her shoulder to her hand and then ....... he grabbed the CD from her hand and walked off quickly to his room

"forget about this CD now miss murthy , and by the way that's  how you settle scores" manik said with a wink and closed the door of his room

Nandini stood still , completely numb at her place as a small smile appeared on her face

"You're good Mr malhotra , but trust me I am better !"

So guys ky2 ending huh ? Quite depressing isn't it but it's good in a way that at least they aren't stretching it like other Indian dramas , maybe this its for the best anyways
