MANAN FF "ROOM MATES"

a day out with the enemy!

2:00 p.m

Manik was peacefully sipping coffee in the balcony when he heard nandini calling him

"Manik"

"Han!" He replied normally (a/n surprising isn't it :p )

"Woh we had to go get a couch for the living room , hum dono free hain toh chalain ? " nandini asked 

"han....woh ..that couch na , ok give me 5 minutes. i'll just go and change" he said and disappeared in his room

nandini grabbed her bag and manik came back after a while 

"chalain ? " he asked 

"han." she replied

they left instantly and got a cab as both of them settled in the back seat , it was a silent ride none of them spoke a single word , they were at the furniture store and nandini liked a couch and manik surprisingly agreed , they asked them to get it delivered to their address and left

"oh shit! , whats the time ?" manik asked

"its 4:30 , why ? " nandini asked

"god damn manik malhotra u jerk face why do you always forget that you work now !! " manik said to himself

"listen i gotta rush to the cafe but i gotta drop you home first , so can we hurry up please ? " manik said in a breath

"but you work in rock cafe right ? " nandini asked inncocently

"happy realisation madam , now do you mind ? "  he said extending his arm toward the road

"no actually i meant that tumhe pura opposite route lena pare ga na yahan se so u might get late  , toh why don't we go to the cafe and after a while i'll get a cab for home " she suggested

"wait , she is actually concern about me getting late " manik thought to himself 

"han ok fine"he said 

the both instantly got a cab and left they weren't talking even then 

"waise toh sara time bak bak karti rehti hai , but abhi kuch bol hee nahi rahi, it's kinda weird to be on a day out with your enemy" manik thought to himself

"poora time yak yak karta hai aur abhi aise chup baitha hai jaise teacher ne punish kar diya ho" nandini thought

"saara din larti rehti hai , mujhse itni nafrat karti hai toh phir yeh concern kyun ? pehle meri finger phir  about my work ? " he thought as he looked at her and saw her staring out of the window and quickly looked away

"jab dekho tab nautanki karta hai , irritating names se bulata hai , muhe pure din ulti seedhi harkaton se satata hai but jab main royi toh chup karane kyun aaya ?" she thought as she looked at him and saw him resting his head back on the seat with his eyes closed " aise kitna innocent lagta hai , jaise kisi ko pareshan kar hee nahi sakta wait shut up nandini , kya soch rahi hai idiot innocent sirf dikhta hai real life me complete monster hai" she thought looking away

he opened his eyes and saw her still looking outside , feeling the air pass through 

"she looks really pretty with her hair open flowing with the wind and her slight smile on her face , she is so cute , what ! chup kar manik ke bache tu bas saari ulti cheezain sochna  dikhti chahe jaisi bhi ho real life main hai toh jungli billi hee na" he thought and looked the other way

they finally reached the cafe after a small battle with their head and heart as they got inside , manik passed a smile to a couple of people and walked e to a table
