sometimes when two people are truly meant for each other things don't always work out the way they were planned , love is never simple and if it seems to be then you're doing it wrong because nothing worth having comes easy .....

" do you love her/him ? " the professor asked and the silence surrounded the class

" sorry ? " cabir asked

" I asked do you love her ? " he repeated and cabir smiled at navya 

" see a simple psychological question I didn't mention a name but suddenly someone came into your mind " he continued and manik looked at nandini and his happiness knew no bounds to find her looking at him but turned around as soon as she saw him making him chuckle a bit

" how are you sure its always love that makes you think of a person , its also possible that we might not love them anymore but the world love reminds us of a nice time we spent together " nandini interrupted

" well nandini psychology states if you fall in love those feeling never leave though you may not 'like' that person anymore but you will always care to a certain extent and in some cases you just never stop loving them and just hide it" proffessor replied

" man I love psychology ! " manik sighed out loud making his gang chuckle

" wow I must be pretty good if that comes from the least interested person in the class " professor mocked

" you are my favourite teacher and you know that " manik replied

" so why is that you're suddenly so expressive manik , all ok ? " he asked

" well what do you think mister genius human psychologist "manik mocked

" oh you don't want to know manik " he said and manik smirked 

" anyways back to the lecture....." he said and continued with the lecture and soon the bell rang and manik collected up his books and started walking out 

" manik stay ! " professor interrupted

" yes ? " he asked as soon as everyone left

"swelled sleepless eyes full of pain with a smile to cover it up , a tat bit of zoning out and constantly thinking about someone each of these signs say something about a person but do you know what do they portray when together ? " he asked erasing the last marker strokes from the white board 

" what ? " manik asked

" a broken heart " professor smirked and manik just leaned on the wall

" you know manik being the student counsellor I see at least two heart broken students every other day who face trouble focusing , but there is one thing I see in your eyes that distinguishes you from them and that is hope , hope to never give up on love " he said leaving manik stunned

" you are amazing " manik exclaimed with a chuckle

" get going now mister , I proved my capability " he said between his laugh

" yes sir " manik smirked

" oh by the way , nandini is a sensible girl she's just a bit hurt but soon it'll all be ok , i know it " he said stopping manik in his tracks

" how do you know that me and nandini...? " 

" I am not blind dude , as soon as I mention love you look at her she looks at you , I know my students " he chuckled and manik left nodding his head in disbelief
