"Ho gaya tumhara ab college chalain ?" Manik asked

"Acha listen I have a day off from café , let's go for a movie " manik asked
"Manik malhotra , are you asking me out on a date " nandini teasingly asked raising an eyebrow as she made an akimbo

They got out of the apartment to see a not so familiar woman in her early 40's in front of them standing on the door of the apartment next to theirs
"Hi " the woman greeted
"Hello" manan said in unison
"I am gayatri , iss building ki secretary" she introduced herself
"I m mnik and she is nandini , Aap ko pehle kabhi dekha nahi " manik said
"Actually I was out of station for a couple of weeks , aap log abhi shift hue ?" She asked
"Jee 3 weeks pehle " nandini replied
"Oh great , you both look great together , kitna time hua shaadi ko ?" She asked due to which manan's eyes jumped out of their sockets
"Shaadi....?" Both yelled in unison
"Tum dono married toh ho na ?" Gayatri asked
"A..aap...k..kyun pooch rahi hai aunty ?" Nandini stammered
"Iss building min sirf married couples ya single log allowed hain , tum dono koi live in relationship ke chakkar main toh nahi ho na? kyunki agar ho toh isi waqt flat khali kar do" she threatened
"Nahi nahi aunty hum married hain !" Nandini instantly yelled
"Hum married hain ?" Manik asked in shock to which nandini showed him eyes and he understood what she was saying
"Han hum married hain !" Manik supported
"Oh great , toh kitna time hua shaadi ko ?" Gayatri asked
"1 month!" Nandini said
"6 months" manik said
"Tum keh rahi ho 1 month hua hai , woh keh raha hai 6 months ho gaye " gayatri asked
"Nandu bas 1 month hee hua hai abhi ? , actually kya hai na aunty hum larkon ko toh shaadi ke baad 1 din bhi 1 week jaisa lagta hai toh isi liye I blurted 6 months " manik handled the situation
"i must say nandini your husband has a great sense of humour" gayatri complimented
"Mujhe bhi abhi pata chala" nandini mumbled under her breath
"But you guys look too young to be married , itni jaldi shaadi kyun kar li ?" Gayatri continued with her interrogation
"Mar gaye " manik mumbled as he quickly opened the water bottle in his hand and gulped the water down to stay calm
