" off course ! I should've guessed , who else in this college walks like a break less bullet train other than you ! " i yelled rubbing 'ice tea' off my sleeve , great the past strikes again

" and who else shouts like a maniac for no reason other than you " Manik replied with a chuckle forwarding his hand to me

" why can't you just leave me alone ? " I yelled getting up on my own

" excuse me ? " he asked

" why are you following me ? " I asked in an irritated tone

" I am not " he replied

" off course , like I believe you " I sighed

" Exactly ! you don't " he said with a smirk

" how typical Manik , the same old double meaning talks " I snapped

" yeah , the only difference is that back then they used to be romantic " he smirked sipping from his cup of ice tea

" Aghhhhh " I groaned in anger and stomped into the classroom and manik followed

" what ? " I turned around and inquired

" what ? what. " he annoyed

" why the hell are you following me ? " I sighed

" like I said I am not , duh ! " he said with a grin showing her a detention slip

" no way... " I mumbled looking at the roof trying to contact aiyappa who seemed to be taking a nap and got seated and he sat next to me , I saw him and got up moving and sat next to some unknown guy , manik walked up to me seat and playfully hit the guy's head

" go sit somewhere else " manik growled and it was enough to scare the shit out of the poor fellow and he ran to another seat and manik sat next to me.... again , I was about to leave again but then a teacher walked in

"again you people are here with your moronic faces , for once if you could stay out of trouble I would reach home on time , now shut up and study whatever until your detention period goes on " teacher complained and some students behind us giggled and I could see manik smirk

" sorry I am late " mukti announced from the door while cabir leaned on the door

" oh our detention queen and king are here , so you were late for your class and you are late for detention as well , why do you even go through the trouble of coming to college cabir and mukti " professor mocked

" We have parents , sir " cabir replied earning a laugh from the entire detention kingdom

" just get in " professor sighed

" cabir you can sit here " I said getting up from my seat

" please be seated where you are miss newbie , this is no playroom " professor said

" yes sir " I said and sat back while manik suppressed his laugh , ughh this guy makes me so angry

I just don't understand him , just till morning he was sending me sorry texts and now he's back to his monster mode annoying me like old times , I thought as I sighed and kept writing my notes from Navya's

" can I borrow a pen ? " he poked my arm and asked in a childish voice and I didn't react but gosh that cuteness was melting my heart , wait what the hell am I even thinking I hate him right I hate him

" no you don't " my heart jumped

" no she doesn't , now shut up ! " my mind growled

" gosh I hate you guys " I thought to myself

" exactly how many people are you claiming to hate these days ? " manik chuckled and I realised I had actually said that out loud

" none of your business " I said with a fake grin

" nandu " manik stretched annoying me even more and I could see mukti and cabir smirking

" loose the smirk you two and what do you want manik malhotra " I said angrily

" a pen tigress " he teased and I kept praying for this time to get over as soon as possible

" at least you two can talk without killing each other " cabir grinned

" I know right , its weird that these two even dated once , such a mistake " mukti mocked and that made me so angry .

That relationship wasn't a mistake , it would never be ! at least not to me I don't know about him but that relationship would always be beautiful to me I don't care if it wasn't true I will cherish those moments for a long while and someone calling it a mistake simply makes me really really mad thankfully the period bell rang , glad it was over I just grabbed my stuff and left , I had to meet the broker as well to look for a new place

" nandini " I heard navya's voice from behind

" hi navya " I replied

" how was your day ? " she asked

" pathetic ! " I mumbled in an inaudible voice

" come again ? " she asked

" uhm it was fine " I replied

" great so shouldn't we head home now ? " she asked

" actually navya I need to go to the brokers office " I informed

" broker ! why ? " she asked dramatically

" now that I have to stay here I think I should find myself a place to live " I said

" but nandini.. " she was about to say something but I interrupted

"no navya I should find a place and I have even applied in a radio station for a part time evening job . I'll be fine " I said and she made a helpless face

" fine off you go " she patted my shoulder I smiled at her and got out to get myself a cab
