The party ended at almost midnight as the gang bid goodbyes to each other and headed home

"Manik nandini I'll drop you guys" cabir offered

"Cabir let be , it's not that far but if you drop us u'd have to take a complete opposite route back to your place so it's ok" nandini said

"But it's 12:30 , I don't think u guys would find a cab at this time " cabir said

"it's ok we'll manage " manik said in an assuring tone

"You sure ?" Cabir asked again

"Yup!" Nandini replied

With that they left the college , all of them had gone but here manan were still struggling to find a cab back home

"Manik Rehne do na , we can walk back home it's not that far" nandini said

"Yeah but I don't think u'd be able to walk so much in those heels" manik said making her smile at his concern

"it's ok manik i am pretty comfy in heels , I don't mind walking in em" she said

"You sure ?" He asked

"Positive!" She exclaimed

They started walking side by side at the side of the streets without saying a word to each other , but just stealing glances every now and then

"So" the both said in unison breaking the silence and then chuckled

"You go first" nandini said

"I was just saying that you know it's quite weird that even after fighting with each other for almost 3 weeks and after living in the same house for more than a week , I still don't know anything about you apart from the fact that , you are a wild cat" he said and she playfully hit his shoulder "and that you are from London , you love to bake , not just cakes but my brain as well "

"Very funny" she said sarcastically

"And that you don't drink in front of people ,love Christmas , sing soulful songs every morning and irritate the life out of me everyday" manik completed his list

"And don't you think you have enough information for now ?" nandini asked

"Well it's all that you've shown , I don't know the real you , I mean stuff you like , stuff you don't like apart from me " he said and she laughed

"What do you want to know ?" She asked

"You know , casual stuff" he said

"Fine then let's do this , you can ask me a question that  we both would answer and vice versa , even i should get to know you , don't you think ?" She said with a smirk

"Go ahead then ladies first" manik said

"Favourite colour ?" She asked

"Red" he replied

"White" she said

"Favourite movie ?" He asked

"Notebook" she said

"no seriously !" He exclaimed

"What's wrong with notebook" she asked

"Ok listen first of all promise me you won't say anything about this to anyone" he said in a stern tone

"Ok ok fine , but yeah tell me anything except that you killed a person while watching notebook" she said

He didn't answer but held her hand and crossed the road first and she couldn't even realise that her hand was still in his as the continued walking
