Something is burning ?....oh its just me !

I frustratingly stomped my feet all the way to the door and opened it to find the most unexpected person

"No no no this isn't happening ! How can he be here , this is not good , go away , shoo shoo !" My heart screamed

"Woohooo ! Seems like a war is near , I like it !" The mind cheered

"Shaktiman !?" I almost yelled

"Bro , it's aryaman !" He replied

"Yeah sorry ! You're Nandini's .."

"Best friend , yeah I am her best friend" he said proudly

"Who is it manik ?" Nandini came from behind only to be stunned

"What the holy fudge muffins !!! Aryaman !" She screamed as she ran and jumped into his arms and he hugged her tight !

"What's up with the tight hugging can't they just shake hands or probably a side hug " i thought to myself

"I missed you ao much !" They both sighed in unison while hugging , "seriously ?, like seriously ?" I kept asking myself

"oh god leave her already !" I yelled in my mind

"Oh god , damn ! What the hell are you doing here ?" She screamed out of excitement , a complete baby she is I tell you

"Well would you at least let me in first madam ?" Aryaman asked ,
"No this is my house and you're not allowed to come in !" How I wish I could say this line on his face early like I am saying it in my mind over and over and over again

"Sorry sorry andar chal !" She said as she grabbed his hand and pulled him in

"Not bad murthy , nice place " he complimented as I closed the door and walked up to OUR living room in OUR house which apparently wasn't really looking like OURS

"Oh sorry arya meet manik and manik this is aryaman my partner in crime" she introduced us as if I was interested

"So you are manik , nandini talks a lot about you !" He said forwarding his hand

"Acha toh definitely nahi bolti ho gi " i teased as I half heartedly shook hands with him

"Very funny manik " nandini said sarcastically

"So how come you're here ?, all of a sudden, tumhe address kis ne diya ? , is everything OK ? , how is dad ? " nandini asked at once

"Relax baby relax!" Aryaman said while pulling her cheek

"BABY ? like B-A-B-Y , she is no baby of yours , thats my girl !" My heart yelled angrily as if it would pop out any minute to dig aryaman's grave

"See i wanted to surprise you isi liye nahi bataya , address aur kon deta humari one and only drama queen navya naveli ne diya , and dad is rocking and all your friends, they all  have said that they love you and miss you a lot"  aryaman replied

"Aww it's so good to have you here" she said like a 5 year old as she hugged him

"What's with the hugging man !" I thouht as clenched my jaw

"if I could I would have made her sign a contract stating that she would stay at least 100 feet away from all men except for you" My heart kept screaming

"So about what I am doing here , then ready for surprise number 2 ?"he asked

"i am here for a whole week..."

"Wait what a full week ? Like 7 days ? , like 168 hours ? , like 604800 seconds ? , with both of them together busy in each other like this ? , I might just die till then ! " I screamed in head as I plastered a fake smile on my face

"And if you're wondering that's it then nah nah , I am going to be attending a musical workshop in space for this while week , actually that's the reason I made this plan !" Aryaman said

"Omg ! This is so great , we can hang out in college all day and then I can take you out for sightseeing as well , I'll show you all my favorite place in Mumbai , this is going to be so much fun ! Haina manik ? "

"Yeah offcourse , too much fun !" I said with a forced smile

"So where are you staying ?" I asked aryaman

"I am with my college group in a hotel " he replied

"You WERE , but now you'll stay her with us !" Nandini ordered

"Wait what ? No she didn't ! , did she just ? ,WTF !" I thought as I almost choked "pura din kam tha kya jo ab iss aafat  ko ghar hee rok rahi hai yeh larki , uff nandini main tumhara kya karo on !" I sighed

"But nandini I can't stay here , I mean if it would have been just you it was ok , but manik is here too right , I don't want him to feel uncomfortable " he said , ok he is not so bad but I don't like him that's it !

"there's nothing like that , haina manik ?" She asked me

"Offcourse not aryaman , I would be more than happy to have you here with us " i wish I sucked at lying but unfortunately I was good at it and when nandini had asked me how could I break her heart

"so whatever aryaman you are halfheartedly allowed to interrupt my evening beer conversations  with her , falling asleep cuddling with her , my deep conversations with her , adoring her , stealing glances , and our tiny romantic moments for the next 7 days but you better get you ass out of my house on the 8th day !" I thought to myself , ughh how I wish he could hear my thoughts

"You guys sure about me staying here ?" He asked

"Yeah !" Me and nandini said in unison

"Great then I'll get my stuff in the evening !" He exclaimed

This guy aryaman could make the new version of "can't feel my face" And the lyrics would be "I feel like a third wheel when I am with you , but I love it ! Yeah I love it " !!

Ok why are they sitting so close , for a second I feel like I don't even exist in the room both of them are so busy talking , oh he did not ! He just kissed her forehead , do I need to tell him that it's my territory and invading that can lead to serious injuries , blue bruises , couple of days in an I.C.U and even death !

"Nandini we are very late for college , our first lecture starts in the next 10 minutes , I am sure we'd miss that but do you want to miss the rest as well ?" I interrupted

"Oh freak ! I so forgot about college , we should rush !" She said and grabbed aryaman's hand pulling him out , great they are holding hands now ! Someone kill me please

"You two are so jealous !" Mind teased

"Yes we are !" Heart and me yelled in unison
