After a long day at college manik was at work and nandini was busy working out when her phone buzzed
"Nandu I'd be late so you better eat and go to sleep" manik texted
"Nope !" She replied
"Why ?" He asked
"I won't sleep until you come back home , hold me tight and kiss me goodnight 😊" she answered
"Stop being cute else I might gobble you up once I'm back !"
"Koi rok raha hai kya ? 😉" she teased
"Nandini I really have a long shift don't provoke me to leave it all and just rush back home !" He texted
"Ok , you get to work and make sure you eat , ok ?" She ordered
"Yes ma'am !" He replied
"I'll see you at home" she texted
It was almost midnight when manik cam back home and fiercely closed the door , hearing the sound nandini came up running to see an angry manik with bloodshot red eyes
"Manik.." she called out softly
"Nandini." He whispered as he held her hand and a tear slipped down his cheek
"Manik ... manik look at me !" She commanded as he looked at her
"Kya hua manik ?" She whispered
"Dad.."
"Kya hua manik tumhare dad ne kuch kaha kya ?" She asked cupping his cheeks and he fell on his knees
"He hates me nandini , he hates me so much ...!" He cried
"No manik he doesn't he doesn't hate you , not at all "she said holding him as she kissed his forehead as a couple of tears escaped her eyes watching him cry

"Toh phir woh baat kyun nahi karte mujh se , main itna bura hun kya ?" He asked between his sobs
"Tum bilkul Bure nahi ho manik , you are the most nicest , the most loving and the most lovable person I have known , manik he doesn't hate you woh bas gussa hain !" Nandini said in a high pitch and manik embraced her in a hug
