The Kind Of Girl.  A free verse poem.

I'm not the kind of girl with a perfect figure.

I'm really just a shy, awkward mess, who giggles a lot.

I'm not the kind of girl who always looks too perfect for words.

I'm the kind of girl who walks around the house wearing nothing but one of your T-shirts.

I'm not the kind of girl who can't take a joke.

I'm the kind of girl who will just laugh hysterically at the stupidest things you do.

I'm not the kind of girl who yells at you for watching the game.

I'm the kind of girl sitting in your lap, screaming the team on with you.

I'm not the kind of girl who wants big romantic gestures.

I'm the kind of girl who would melt at something as simple as kissing me in the rain.

I'm not the kind of girl who watches from a safe distance.

I'm the girl that's with the boys, betting that I can best them.

I'm not the kind of girl who wants to be taken on fancy getaways.

I'm the kind of girl to throw dirt bikes in the Ute and go camping.

I'm not the kind of girl who backs down from a challenge.

I'm the kind of girl to wink and raise the stakes.

I'm not a girly girl.

But I'm not a tomboy.

I can be sweet and bad-ass.

Innocent, but so guilty.

Loving as anything, but tough as nails.

I'm the kind of girl to shove you when you piss me off, then jump on you and kiss you with everything I have.

I'm the kind of girl who encourages stupid shit you probably shouldn't do.

I'm the kind of girl who will dive on you and just expect you to catch me.

I'm the kind of girl to steal your favourite jumper because it's snugly and smells like you.

I'm the kind of girl who loves cuddles and my hair played with.

But I also give incredible back massages.

I'm the kind of girl who can yell and scream, but be shut up as soon as you kiss me.

I'm the kind of girl who will be your girlfriend and best friend, all in one.
