Game Day ~ Part Two

Jen's POV
I'm not really in to baseball and never really watch any games unless Liam is watching one at my house. At the moment we're waiting for Anna and Zac to arrive since they have the tickets and know where the box is. We didn't know if they would bring Harper as it can get loud at a baseball game so we didn't get our hopes up Incase she was staying with either Anna's or Zac's parents for,the night.

We see Zac's pull up and park fairly close to the front since there is designated parking for VIP box users. We wait by the front door for them as Brittany and Adam get out also whilst Anna goes to the other side of the car and returns with Harper in her arms.

"Hey guys" Zac said as he and Adam walked over to us whilst Brittany and Anna walked with Harper "so we going to watch a game or what" Adam said trying to hurry along Anna and Brittany. "Hi Jen" Anna said as she gave me a hug with her free hand "hi Anna" I reply before her and Brittany begin talking about movies and a holiday Anna wants to plan.

Anna's POV
We're up in the box eating and watching the game that just started Harper is sat with Brittany who is playing with her on the floor, "Harper what's my name" Brittany asked since we'd been trying to teach her to say it the whole car ride here "auntie bribri" she replied smiling "Harper who's that" I asked pointing at Adam "uncle Adam" she said with a slight lisp "and who is that" I asked pointing at Liam "uncle weirdo" she said making Liam chuckle since we'd asked her what she wanted to call Jen and Liam on the travel down to make her and them feel more comfortable "who's that" I ask pointing to Zac "that daddy" she said laughing "who is this" I say pointing to Jen who was sat on the chair behind us next to Liam "auntie Jenny" she said pausing a little unsure if she said the right thing "ok now here is a really hard one" I say nodding my head slightly "what's my name" I say whilst pointing at myself "you Mommy" she said laughing "ohh your so smart" I say hugging her slightly and kissing her forehead before going back to watch the game.

Jen's POV
For the first time since Anna and Zac got custody of Harper, she allowed me to pick her up only as we walked up the steps to get to where the food was but still it's progress "hey Harper want some ice cream" I say noticing the bowls of ice cream waiting for us "yeah let eat ice cream" she says jumping up and down "ok calm down here you go" I say handing her the ice cream before she walks back and sits next to Anna.

Anna's POV
Harper is sat next o me eating ice cream when she starts coughing uncontrollably and her cheeks go bright red "baby what's wrong" I ask as I move the ice cream away from her, but she doesn't say anything and continues coughing, I checked her throat and she's not choking something is definitely up "Zac can you come here a second please" I say quite panicked as harper is coughing uncontrollably and is now struggling with taking breaths "ok whats .." He said before he stopped and knelt down in front of her looking down Harpers throat "Anna what's in the ice cream" he asks panicked before Brittany looks to see what's in it "um it looks like peanuts" she said placing the tub of ice cream down and look confused at to what Zac was thinking "she's having an allergic reaction to the nuts" he says as he picks her up and makes a run for the car which I am not too far behind him "Harper keep breathing baby keep breathing" he says as he runs down the corridor to the elevator which we reach in seconds "Harper take a nice breathe I'm for me" he says calmly but she can't and musts keeps coughing and gasping for air "the hospitals not far from here you hold here in the back seat and I'll drive" he said as the elevator reaches the first floor. We both run to the car as I take Harper and sit in the back seat Zac gets in the front and behind to drive, the only time he drove like this was when I was in labour. I look down at Harper constantly trying to help her breathe but I'm helpless in this situation and there is nothing I can do big have hope that we get to the hospital soon.

Jen's POV
I sit there in shock this is all my fault "come on guys lets get to the hospital I don't feel like watching the rest of the game" Adam said as he stood up and placed on his coat "you guys can come in our car, I'll drive" Liam said whilst taking out his car keys "you ok Jen" Brittany asked placing a reassuring hand on my shoulder "I'm find just in shock" I say holding back tears "don't worry I think everyone is but the sooner we get to the hospital the sooner we find out her condition" she says as we begin walking down to mine and Liam's car, but only one thought is going through my head I caused this.

Zac's POV
I arrive at the hospital entrance and park our car right out side the doors since this is a clear emergency, I run over to Anna's door and pick up Harper from my arms she's now going a light shade of purple and is just about breathing.

"HELP MY DAUGHTER IS HAVE AN ALLERGIC REACTION AND CANT BREATHE" I scream as I run through the hospital entrance and it's not long before I have a team of doctors and nurses surrounding me "put her on the bed quickly we need to get this child into the resuscitation room now I want all doctors on stand by and tell them we have a code red" the doctor says as Harper is wheeled away, I try to go with her but him held back by a nurse "your daughter is in safe hands now let's go into a quiet room over here"she says whilst guiding myself and Anna into the private parents waiting room.

"Are you Harper's parents" a doctor asks as he walks in and sits down "yes we are is she ok" I say since Anna isn't the right state to talk "well she was on a bad way when you bought her to us, but we managed to calm down the reaction but it was a close call, a few more minutes and she would no longer be with us" he says handing us a clipboard to show how life threading the reaction could've been "she is asleep from the medication but you may see her now" he says holding the door open for us "thank you so much doctor" I say shaking his hand as did Anna.

As we walk out we see Liam, Jen, Adam and Brittany waiting at the front desk trying to find out any information "dude she ok" Adam asked but since I needed to see Harper I handed him the clipboard of notes to read.

Anna and I walk down a long corridor before we come across Harper's room, she looks tiny and has an oxygen mask on and a catheter coming out of her hand which is hooked up to some fluid "she looks so small" Anna says as she walks over to her crying "my baby girl my poor baby girl" she says as she picked her up and cradles her in her arms, I walk over to her and place my hands around Anna's waist and look down at harper who looks so small and so pale almost like a ghost, we stay like this for awhile as we know it's going to be a long night ahead of us with no sleep and constant panicking.
