"To talk, to make you understand"

Taylor looked at me as if she was confused, "to make me understand what?" She was no longer standing against the tree but instead she was in front of me with her hands in her pocket but she was staring at me not just a normal stare but she was staring at me to look for any emotions in my eyes and I gave her none, I gave her no emotions "Victoria?" When she spoke it was like she was pleading for me to tell her.

I tried for awhile to open my mouth and talk but nothing came out. I got off the rock and slowly walked to the lake sitting down in front of it while staring up at the moon and a little while after Taylor was sitting next to me with her eyes on me, never once looking away

"I was in love once" I spoke with pain to noticeable I thought that Taylor would question it but she didn't she stayed quiet and nodded at me to continue, "her name was Melissa, she was beautiful the kind of girl that everyone loved and admired because she was so kind hearted. One day she came to me and told me she wanted to take a trip and go on a vacation just the two of us... So I agreed and... and we went, we had the most beautiful time and everything about that week we had together was perfect so on our way back I decided to let her drive because I was tired and about an hour later I was still asleep until I heard her scream next thing I know the car is in the middle of the road and it's upside down with me and Melissa still in it, I look to the side of me and she's alright she's looking at me pleading for me to be okay but then I black out" I'm sitting in the grass still looking at the lake and Taylor still hasn't let her eyes leave me, I'm surprised I haven't started crying but once I look at Taylor for the first time I see a tear falling from her face, I turn back around and look at the lake to stop myself from crying. "Next thing I know I wake up in the hospital not remembering what exactly happened the last thing I remembered was going on that trip with her, the doctor walks in and she ask me simple questions and I tell her but the next thing she tells me isn't a question its more like a statement, she said my "friend" died meaning "Melissa" I started yelling and I told her she was a liar and that she was lying,
