Avery:I wake up the next morning and it's 6:30 so I watch tv in the living room then daddy comes downstairs cooking breakfast I go out and check the mail but the only mail that's in their is a letter from my teacher I grab it running in the house going into his study dragging out the shredder.
Taylor:I go in my study stopping Avery for shredding the letter"what are u doing?"I ask
Avery:"um shredding something that's not important"I say
Taylor:"let me see it"I say
Avery:"no"I say holding it to my chest.
Taylor:"Avery give it to me now"I say sternly
Avery:"no daddy"I say and quickly turn on the shredder putting the letter in it and it shreds it.
Taylor:"Avery Rose what was that letter and I want the truth"I say firmly.
Avery:"I-it was a letter from my teacher"I say
Taylor:I nod"and what'd it say?"I ask
Avery:"that I haven't been paying attention in class"I say
Taylor:"and why haven't u been paying attention?"I ask
Avery:"cuz all of my teachers are boring"I say
Taylor:"that doesn't mean u risk ur grade"I say
Avery:"but I do my work just not a good job"I say
Taylor:"do u think you'd do better in school if you'd pay attention?"I ask
Avery:"yeah"I huff and cross my arms.
Taylor:"let's go"I say and we walk to the kitchen"read rule 6 and 2"I say
Avery:"no lying and listen"I read.
Taylor :"read the consequences"I say
Avery:"for lying its 5 smacks with the spoon and for not listening its grounding"I read
Taylor:I nod"go get the spoon"I say
Avery:"but daddy"I whine
Taylor:"u decided to lie"I say and she sniffles grabbing me the spoon out of the drawer and hands it to me. I bend her over my knees and start SWAT SWAT SWAT SWAT SWAT then I set her up.
Avery:"m'sorry"I cry
Taylor:"I know baby but u don't lie"I say and she nods going upstairs to get ready for school.
Hailey:"hey daddy can I go to my friends house after school?"I ask
Taylor:"whose?"I ask
Hailey:"Katie's"I say
Taylor:"yeah but be home before dinner behave"I say
Hailey:"ok love u bye"I say and we all leave for school.
Aaliyah:daddy picks me up to feed me"daddy down"I say
Taylor:I buckle her into her chair"u gotta eat"I say
Aaliyah:"but me wan play wif doggy"I say
Taylor:"after breakfast"I say and she nods then Susan comes downstairs."hey babe"I say
Susan:"hey"I say and sit at the table putting my head down.
Taylor:"what's wrong?"I ask
Susan:"I don't feel good"I say
Taylor:"do u want some medicine?"I ask
Susan:"I can't take any medicine while the baby is in me"I say he gets me a glass of water then lays a warm rag on my neck I drink the water then go upstairs to take a shower.
Aaliyah:he cleans me up and let's me down"doggy"I giggle running to Gracee.
Taylor:"be easy baby"I call to her.
Susan:"TAYLOR!!"I scream from in the shower
Taylor:I run upstairs"what? What's wrong?"I ask frantically
Susan:"I think I was a little bit farther than they thought"I say as my water breaks and the contractions start to come he helps me out of the shower putting clothes on me then he gets Aaliyah and my bag and we go to the hospital once we get their they take me to a room giving me a gown to change into and they check me but I'm not dilated enough and they walk out"baby what if it like the last time we had a kid?"I ask
Taylor:"they would have told us"I say hold her hand and she nods the doctor comes back in and she is fully dilated I hold her hand as she pushes them after a couple minutes I hear a cry they clean our baby girl up and lay her on Susan's chest.
Susan:"hey baby"I smile caressing her head with my thumb and she smiles they ask me what I want to name her"Courtney Marie Caniff"I say smiling down at her as she smiles.
Taylor:I smile"that's beautiful"I say and she smiles then puts Courtney in her carrier and we leave.
