Chapter 78-A surprise gathering

(Back in Eun Hye's doorstep ....)

"Eun Hye, please don't end Running Man?" Ji Hyo begged as if her life had depended on it.

"What are you talking about? Oh, you mean the cancellation of your lame show?" Eun Hye folded her arms nonchalantly.

"I beg you... The show needs to go on..." Ji Hyo murmured as she put her bag down on the floor.

"Hmm.... Alright, come in," Eun Hye helped Ji Hyo up and pulled her into her house effortlessly.

Eun Hyo's eyes drifted to Ji Hyo's misplaced handbag and thought of a plan.

She went to the drawer near the door and retrieved some sort of a device.

With quick steps, she reached the entrance in no time, and was about to reach into Ji Hyo's bag when....

"What are you doing?" Ji Hyo's eyes were red and swollen.

"Um, nothing... This pot of plant is sure dirty... I'm just cleaning it..." Left with no choice, Eun Hye placed the device under the pot of plant and obstructed Ji Hyo's view with her entire body.

Ji Hyo was so preoccupied with her thoughts that she didn't view Eun Hyo's actions as "suspicious." With a shrug, she was about to take her bag with her.

"Ouch!" Eun Hye fell down to make a scratch on her right knee.

"Omo, are you alright?" Ji Hyo knew that she had to put on a nice act to appease Eun Hye in order for Running Man to go on.

"Can you help me up?" Eun Hye showed Ji Hyo her pitiful puppy-like eyes, which made Ji Hyo want to puke.

"Sure...." Ji Hyo supported Eun Hye as both girls entered the house.

In the house, Eun Hye had put on a plaster on her injury which was intentional, while Ji Hyo was looking around her house.

"Alright, over with the ruckus already. So, your little show's gonna get cancelled," Eun Hye seemed like she turned into a completely different person, which was basically back to her original self.

'You're the one who made a scene,' Ji Hyo thought.

"Please don't cancel it, what do you want?" Ji Hyo was at her wits' end.

"Well, for starters, you can apologise for everything you have done," Eun Hye crossed her legs as she felt contented that Ji Hyo was right under her nose.

"What...?" Ji Hyo was baffled.

"Get on your knees, now," Eun Hye commanded.

"Why the heck....." Ji Hyo was astonished.

"Well, then I guess you can kiss goodbye to Running Man," Eun Hye stretched her fingers and stared at her dark painted nails.

"Fine..." Ji Hyo knew she had to do this or Eun Hye will not let this issue slip easily.

Ji Hyo obediently did as she was told and landed her knees on the floor gently.

"What do you have to say next?" Eun Hye provoked her before taking out her phone and texting someone.

Ji Hyo's eyes were on the floor and her eyes were filled with sincerity. "Sorry... For everything which I have done to you..."

'Snap,' Eun Hye has taken the picture of poor Ji Hyo who was kneeling down pitifully at that moment.

"What are you doing?" Ji Hyo was obviously upset.

"Just taking a shot to remind us of this precious moment," Eun Hye chuckled.

"Why would you do that?' Ji Hyo was aggravated and know that she wouldn't be able to contain her anger for long.

"Well, it's none of your business, so why do you care?" Eun Hye rebutted Ji Hyo's words.

"Give me that!" Ji Hyo suddenly pounced on Eun Hye and reached for Eun Hye's phone. After getting her pictures taken when they were young by Eun Hye, Ji Hyo just couldn't let malicious Eun Hye have the upperhand anymore again.

However, Eun Hye was unexpectedly stronger than our Ace as she pushed Ji Hyo away to make her fall onto the floor while raising up her arm.

"Serves you right," Eun Hye snapped at Ji Hyo as she went back to using her phone again.

(In Haha's ward...)

Haha and Jong Kook gave Kwang Soo a tongue-lashing, and Kwang Soo was feeling guilty from head to toe.

"So now, do you trust Ji Hyo?" Jong Kook sighed in desperation.

"Yea, hyung," Kwang Soo was timid.

Haha's phone started to beep and he checked the notification.

"What's it about?" Kwang Soo asked out of curiosity.

Out of the blue, Haha's head started to hurt again, and he moaned in pain.

"Haha yah, are you alright?" Jong Kook supported Haha with his hands.

"I'm fine.... I... I have to go somewhere now..." With an unbelievable speed, Haha bolted out of the ward without any warning.

"What?" Jong Kook and Kwang Soo witnessed the whole scene with shock.

"I'll go after him, stay here in case he returns," Jong Kook went after his good friend.

"Oh, what should I do now?" Kwang Soo scratched his head after being left all alone.

(At Jae Suk's house...)

Jae Suk has asked his wife to enter the bedroom so that he could have a word with Suk Jin in private.

"Hyung, weren't you in jail?" Jae Suk and Suk Jin were seated at the dining table.

"Um... Yes... But they let me come out early because of my good behavior.... I'm still on probation though," Suk Jin coughed.

"I see... What brings you here?" Jae Suk was cautious of Suk Jin.

"Jae Suk ah, please forgive me... I'm sorry for whatever I have done to all of you..." Suk Jin was embarrassed.

"Hyung... I forgive you.. But I can't help you with this because the others might not forgive you... Why don't I call them now for you to apologize to them?" Jae Suk took out his phone and scrolled through his contacts.

"Don't! I... I am still not ready to meet them...." Suk Jin rested his hand above Jae Suk's.

"Then when do you want to do it?" Jae Suk was feeling slightly annoyed.

"When I am ready.... Um, Jae Suk ah, do you think I can join Running Man again?" Suk Jin had an awkward smile.

"That's not for me to decide.... But I'll be glad if you join us again, if the others agree to it too, of course," Jae Suk continued to fill Suk Jin with details of what had occurred, without a hint of suspecting him.

Suk Jin now had a mysterious grin on his face, unlike the previous awkward one, which Jae Suk had failed to notice.

(Back in Eun Hye's house...)

Haha had spent a few minutes outside Eun Hye's place, doing some things which no one knew.

At this time, Jong Kook appeared at the elevator and spotted Haha straight away.

"Haha?" Jong Kook pointed his finger at him.

Hearing the commotion, Ji Hyo and Eun Hye left the house and joined in the fuss.

The second elevator opened again, and out came Gary and Kwang Soo, with the spotlight on them as everyone was glaring at the two.

"Awesome, a surprise gathering?" Eun Hye was being sarcastic.
