Chapter nine

Haruka's P.O.V
I ran and ran, not looking back or stopping ok until I reached Haruhi's apartment.

She gave me her house number so I walked up to it and knocked the door.

She opened it and smiled.

"Thanks so much for letting me stay here."

"No problem. You helped me out so I am helping you out." She smiled and lead me in.

My eyes widened at how beautiful her apartment was.

"I know it's not much but please make yourself comfy."

"Wow... it's beautiful. I can sleep here."

I pointed to the kitchen floor.

"Nah. You'll sleep with me. You're a girl after all, right?"

"H-how did you know?"

"Well in the letter, your mother says you are no longer her 'son' so I pondered for awhile and it was quite obvious that you are a girl. Hikaru and Karou don't know right?" She explained then asked me.

"Ahhh. So that's how... and yeah... they still don't know."

"Yeah"

"I have an idea." I said.

"Why not I pay for the apartment every month?" I suggested.

"But the letter says that you can't bring money here."

"I know. Did you ever hear of the book called shadow's darkness?" I questioned.

"Yeah. I love that book. I am still waiting for Misaki to create the next book though."

I smiled.

"Good. Can I tell you a secret. But you can't tell anyone."

She nodded.

"I'm the author." I whispered in her ear.

She looked at me in disbelief.

I sighed and passed her my jotter book.

She flipped through it and her eyes widened.

"So you're really the author?"

I nodded.

"I paid for my ouran uniforms." I told her.

"Wow... that must be harsh."

"Why didn't you use your own name?" Haruhi questioned me.

"'Cause, I don't want to be popular only because I write storys and sing."

"Wait... so you're saying that you are a singer in a band?"

I nodded my head.

"We're called the assassins." I explained.

"The host club loves that band... I also love that band...wow."

I smiled cheekily.

"Hey heh. Now I know I have fans..." I smiled broadly.

"Anyway, do you want to follow me to the supermarket?" I questioned Haruhi.
