Luke's POV:
Within the first 5 minutes of school getting out I find myself in Ed's office. His secretary greets me. I sit down and wait. Claire and him emerge from the doors. Claire looks mad. Ed seems as calm as ever.
"Hey Luke! How can I help you?" Ed asks shooing Claire out of his office.
"I need to chat with you about something," I say quietly. We sit down in his office. I glance around at the books, the pictures and the college memorabilia.
"What's up?" He asks.
"We need to do something about the bullying. It's ridiculous. Ed, Leigha is like family. She's been bullied for 6 years. It's not my place to say, but she self harms. There are scars on her wrist! We need to do something," I say angrily.
"Luke, it's just Leigha that get's bullied or that's all I see. What am I suppose to do about it?" Ed asks staring out the window.
"Think of something!Aren't there any laws against bullying we could use?"
"I'll research a couple things and talk to the superintendent of the district. I have an idea. You might not like it," he says with a smirk.
"Anything that makes them stop," I say walking out of the room. The secretary comes running in.
"Ed, there's a fight in the senior hallway!" She yells. I run behind Ed through the hallway. My jaw dropped when I see who it is.
Leigha's POV:
I quickly walked to my locker. I grab my purse and keys. I was trying to get out of this building before I saw Nikki and Claire. "Fat ass! Thanks to you I got suspended. On the first day. It's a new record," Claire says slamming my locker shut.
"Really. That's the only thing you would be proud of."
"Claire, she actually talks back now," Nikki says rolling her eyes.
"I'm sick of your shit. Ruin someone else's year bitch," I voice back to them.
"Who do you think you are?" Claire asks.
"Thankfully not you," I say with a smirk. I felt her palm strike my cheek. I punched her and it felt amazing. She pulled my hair and I kept throwing punches.
"Ladies, break it up," Ed says grabbing Claire. I realize Nikki had just stood there, I think she was shocked. I feel a pair of arms around my waist pulling me back.
"Claire, you deserved it, bitch!" I yell. I saw my little sister's face, she is laughing. She follws Luke and I. I sit in Luke's room. It is an awkward silence. Tasha brakes out laughing.
"I love high school already. Like damn, I mean dang. It was an interesting day," Tasha explained. Luke and I both just laugh as Benny bursts through the door.
"My sisters, ladies and gentleman. The youngest swears at me and the oldest get's in a fight. All in the same day. I present to you Tasha and Leigha Clark," Benny says clapping.
"Ben, shut up," Luke says smacking him.
"Luke, what is your arm doing around my sister's waist?"Benny asked. I hadn't realized his arm is around my waist. He quickly unsnakes his arm from around me.
"Nothing. What are you talking about?" He says grinning.
"Mom's having a big dinner tonight, see you there. I gotta get these bad asses home," Benny says as a voice comes over the loud speaker.
"Mr.Smith and Leigha Clark to Mr.Richards' office please," the voice commands.
"You take Tashy home. I'll go see what they want," I say quietly.
"Take Sara too. She's in my sister's room," Luke adds. We don't talk the whole walk across the school. I am kind of scared.
Ed's POV:
Leigha and Luke quietly shuffled into my office. "I won't tolerate fighting Leigha. I know you didn't start it, but still. On an un-principal note I'm proud of you. You kicked ass. Leigha you get one day out of school suspension for tomorrow. You are dismissed. I need to chat with Luke," I tell her.
"Yes sir. I understand. Thank you sir. See you guys later at my house," she says quietly shutting the door.
"If the bulliying doesn't come to an end after this. I have a plan," I explained.
"And what is it?" Luke asks, his eyes sparkled. I know that somehow him and Leigha will end up together. Most likely behind my back, but they deserve each other.
"Well. I talked to my brother, the police chief. He has a young new officer who could go undercover," I say with a smirk.
"You don't mean.."
I interupt him,"Yes I mean him."
"What will that help?" Luke asks.
"He can inforce the new bullying laws the state just started," I say with an evil grin.
"I like this plan," is all Luke says before he leaves my office.
