Merry Christmas part 7

"Merry Christmas mum" Harry smiled as he pulled his mum in for an embrace

"You too sweetie! Now where's my beautiful Daughter in law?!" She smiled and made her way over to you

"Oh nice to see who the favourite is then" Harry huffed

"Oh get over it Harry" Gemma chuckled as she made her way over to Harry with Darcy resting on her hip

"Merry Christmas Gem" he placed a kiss to her cheek and then focused his attention on Darcy

"Why don't we get you out of your pyjamas and into your pretty dress then pretty girl" He held his arms out to Darcy who moved from Gemma's arms into Harrys

"Well atleast Y/N actually lets me spend time with Darcy no wonder Mum prefers her to you" Gemma laughed and pushed Harry lightly

"My house my rules" He beamed proudly down at Darcy before heading for the stairs

"Where you taking her?" You questioned

"Taking her to get changed, you stay here and just relax baby" he placed a kiss to your lips and headed up the stairs

"We gonna get you looking all gorgeous aren't we darling" you could hear Harry talking to Darcy as they went up the stairs

"I've never seen him so happy" Anne beamed at the sight of Harry and Darcy

"I was worried that he would be too busy for a child but I think it's the best thing that's happened to us" you smiled back at Gemma and Anne who were standing in front of you

"I think you're the best thing that ever happened to him" you felt your eyes well up from Anne's words

"I leave Y/N alone with you for 2 minutes and you make her cry?!" Harry came striding into the kitchen where you all were and immediately took place at your side

"Calm down H we were just talking about you" Gemma chuckled as she pinched Harrys cheeks causing an unamused look to appear on his face

"I promise whatever they said there's a 99.9% chance it's not true babe" he whispered in your ear as he moved closer to you to wrap his arm round you

"Well they were just saying that they think I'm the best thing that's ever happened to you so-" you began before Harry cut you off

"No no no no no then it most defiantly is true!" He panicked

"where's Darce?" Your worrying mother side kicked in

"She said she wanted to pick out her clothes by herself and wanted me to 'get away and go and check on mummy'" he held his hands up in the air to signal quotation marks causing you, Gemma and Anne to burst into laughter

"and when I came down to find you crying im bloody glad I did" he glared his eyes in the direction of his mum and Anne

"You my son are way too protective" she placed her hand on Harrys arm in a caring nature

"Daddy! Daddy!" You heard the shouts coming down the stairs and you all turned your attention to to Darcys voice

"Ta-Dah!" She turned the corner to reveal herself swamped in one of Harrys shirts that he must've left on the floor somewhere with your lipstick over the majority of the bottom half of her face and brown eyeshadow on her forehead and in the mix of her hairline all brought together with the pink circles plastered on her cheeks from blusher
