Summer's POV

I had been working for Harry McCain for just under a month and it was the best job I had ever had.

Three times a week I worked with this older woman, Mary. She was thirty, married and had a three-year-old daughter. Mary loved showing me photos of her daughter, the girl was such a little princess.

On Mondays and Fridays, I worked with Tianna. On Saturday I worked with this guy Nick, he was smoking hot. We got along so well that it was like we were brother and sister. Nick was hung up on this girl Tate, he was so in love with her but she didn't give him the time of day. It was cute.

In the evening, I worked with a whole array of people but they treated each other like family. It was great.

Harry would stop by a few times a week and every Saturday. He would work as a bartender in the evenings too. I liked the time I could spend with him.

On my fifth Saturday of working at Will's Bar, I was sitting, waiting for a customer to come in. It had been a slow day. Nick was preoccupied by Tate, she was a regular customer, and Nick was the one to always serve her.

When outside the café window I saw Harry hurriedly rushing towards the café. In his arms was a small boy. Harry quickly opened the door and swiftly came to me." Summer could you please look after Will for me. My parents went off to visit my brother for the weekend leaving me with Will. I didn't know about this until this morning. I really need to finish some paperwork." He took a quick breath. "He's a good boy, aren't you Will?"

Will looked towards Harry and smiled. "Yes Daddy."

The little boy looked so much like Harry; they had the same colour hair and the same mouth and nose. The only difference was the colour of their eyes. Harry's eyes were blue, Will's were green.

"Sure," I said smiling at Harry. "I'll look after him. We'll have fun."

"Thank you so much Sum. I owe you one."

"Don't stress," I laughed. I liked the nickname he had given me, no one ever had shortened my name, it made me feel special.

He walked off towards his office leaving behind Will. "Hey Will, I'm Summer," I crouched down to his level. "Where would you like to sit today?"

"Um... up here," he pointed to the stool by the counter. I quickly picked him up and placed him on the stool.

"Would you like something to drink?"

He nodded enthusiastically. "Milkshake please. Chocolate." I quickly made him a chocolate milkshake. "Thank you Summy."

I smiled happily to myself. Even Will had a nickname for me. He was so cute. "How old are you Will?"

"I'm three, my birthday is on the tenth of May."

"So it's your birthday soon?"

"Yeah, Daddy said that we could do anything we wanted for my birthday."

"You're a big boy now aren't you?"

"Yeah. Daddy says that I get bigger every day."

"I'm sure he does. So what do you want for your birthday?"

"I want Mommy to come home." Suddenly I felt guilty, I wanted to cry. "Daddy told me she would come and see me soon."

"She will," I promised. "I'm sure she loves you and misses you so much. You're the most gorgeous boy I have ever met."

"Summy, do you know my mommy?"

"No baby I don't," I told him. His face suddenly changed from the happy smile to a crushed look. "I'm sorry baby," I walked to him and hugged him tightly. The guilt tugged on my stomach, I wished everything was perfect but it wasn't, and I just hurt the sweetest boy ever.
