Chapter 29

I flopped down on my bed. Followed by the two idiots who decided spending the night tonight would be the best decision for me. Pshh... "How do vampires always end up breaking into the house,” I asked turning around to look at the ceiling.
They chuckled, "We just walked in the front door. You just didn't see us," said Austin.
I huffed, "Am I the only normal person here?" Wait that was a stupid question...of course. They looked at me with the same are-you-stupid expression. I giggled, "I forgot..."
”I'm glad we stayed with you tonight. You need us," he said smugly.
I rolled my eyes, "Whatever..."
Austin pulled me closer to him, "Aww you know I'm joking babe. You don't need Xavier." I chuckled.
"She needs me more than she needs you, Austin" he glared.
"But she wants me more," he smirked.
I gently pushed him. "Shut up Austin," I chuckled.
He smiled, "I missed you Ny. Even though you forgot all about me,” he said feigning hurt.
“I did get my memory wiped," I said in a duh tone.
"But I'm rememberable,” he said cockily.
”Psh... not really," I teased.
"You..." he was cut off by the sound of my door opening.
Hayden walked in. He glared at Austin, "What the hell are you doing here," he spat.
"Hayden, he's not the bad guy here," I defended. He turned to look at me and glared, then looked back at Austin.
“The one who bonded you two. That wasn't me... I think it was one of the Phoenix or Silvieter covens," he said in a calm voice.
Hayden looked at him wide eyed, "How the hell would they know about her," he asked eyeing him skeptically.
Austin shook his head, "I don't know. I think they might of saw her that one day Aiden took her out to lunch."
"How do you know about that," Hayden asked, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Carson and I were there too. We ate lunch together with them," he retorted.
"So why are you here," he spat back.
“I’m here to protect her," Austin practically yelled.
"That's my job-"
Austin cut him off, "Well you're not doing a very good job of that."
"How the hell would you know," Hayden said walking closer. I quickly got up and stood between the two.
"Stop it you two," I said in a stern voice.
"What is he?Another one of you little boyfriends," Hayden spat.
I looked towards him and glared, "Why don't you just go find Taylor and fuck her," I shot back.
"She just left to go somewhere. She'll be back later on tonight," he said smirking. I was about to pounce on him, but Austin caught me, "I wouldn't do that, sweetheart," Hayden hissed.
I struggled to get out of Austin's grasp, "Austin just let me hit him one time, then I'll be done!"
"No I can't let you fight a guy...let alone a vampire. You'll break your hand," he said in a stern voice.
