       [Name] slowly opened up her eyes to find herself out in a field.

"Hm?" She mumbled under her breath in confusion.

As she realized her situation, [Name] flew up in dismay. Did she actually sleep outside on the training grounds? After working so hard last night, I wouldn't be surprised. Pein had given [Name] a new sword to work with the other day. He said that it was 'legendary' and that she had to learn how to use it, whatever that meant. [Name] looked down beside her to find the silver glistening blade sitting beside her. She sighed and dragged her body back to her one and only friends bedroom, Itachi Uchiha. As [Name] was about to knock, the door flung open to the tall Uchiha.

"You're looking as great as ever, aren't you?" He chuckled, scoring an aggravated grunt from the girl.

She wore the same clothes as yesterday, except now there was dirt all over them from the training grounds. And she didn't even want to get started about her hair!

"Yeah, yeah." She mumbled under her breath. "What's the agenda for today?" She asked.

[Name] threw herself down in the only chair and slumped her shoulders back.

"Uh-" Itachi paused. It wasn't much like Itachi to say 'uh' or be speechless. [Name] looked up at him, worried. "I just have an errand to run, but you can stay here."

[Name] looked up at him and sighed. He always had something 'secret' to do, and he'd never let her come along with him. Things like these seemed to happen monthly, and with what Tobi said, you weren't trusting him to go out on his own.

"Come on, just this once!" She whined.

[Name] listened to herself as she realized how much she was acting like a puppy, always chasing after Itachi. But today was going to be different, right? She was a grown woman, not some little kid, not anymore.

"I'm heading out. You stay here, okay?" He assured, heading for the exit.

"Yeah.. sure."[Name] mumbled, lying to herself.

Itachi left and without notice, [Name]'s body began moving on its own. Her body had followed him all the way out into the woods! How has he still not realized that she was here? He had to be smarter than to just-

"Itachi." She heard a familiar voice speak.

At the sound of the voice, [Name] hid behind the closest tree and snuck her head around it. It was Sasuke! What was Itachi doing meet Sasuke out in the woods? No way-

"It's finally time for me to kill you, hn." He spoke coldly, walking toward his brother.

Itachi continued to stand still as Sasuke took his katana out of its holder. No way! He wasn't actually going to kill him... was he? She couldn't let him do that to her best friend...

"I guess that this is the end, Itachi."Sasuke smirked flinging his katana at his eldest brothers chest.

Suddenly, [Name] appeared in between the two, gripping onto Sasuke's katana with her bare palm.

"You have got to be kidding me."She began, staring down , tightening her grip around his sword, causing herself to yelp in pain as she saw more blood drip onto the floor. She winced and smirked up at the Uchiha. "Didn't Itachi teach you to never fight an unwilling man?"

Sasuke looked down at her with a bit of surprise in his eyes.

"Hn." Is all the raven headed boy said.

""What kind of battle would this be if only one person was willing to fight?" She questioned jokingly, but still somewhat serious.

"You act just like you did as a child, [Name]." Sasuke chuckled and began to pull his sword back toward him, causing [Name]'s cut to deepen.

"Oh really?" She smirked, snapping the boys sword in half and dropped the blade onto the floor. "Could a child do that?"

She looked down at her palm momentarily to realize that the cut wouldn't be able to heal that easily. She quickly shook the bad thoughts out of her head and looked back up at Sasuke. As she looked over at him, a light bulb seemed to flicker on in his mind.

"How about," He paused, looking back at Itachi. "Me and you battle for Itachi?"

[Name]'s eyes widened at the boys proposal. Battle? For a human? For her best friend? No... that wouldn't be fair....Plus, Sasuke had no idea what he was getting himself into, she was way too powerful for him. [Name] looked back toward Itachi who nodded in agreement. [Name] sighed and nodded back, accepting her friends request. If he wanted a battle for him, that was what he was going to get. She turned back toward Sasuke and responded.

"You don't know what you're getting yourself into..." She spoke up, confidently grabbing her sword from out of her jacket.

Sasuke took this response as a yes to his challenge. He wielded his half sword and smirked, activating his sharingan.

"Itachi," [Name] said, turning to the man behind her. "You should probably leave-" She spoke, turning back to no longer find Sasuke anywhere to be seen. "Go now!"

[Name]'s muscles relaxed as she saw Itachi jump through the trees, escaping safely. That Sasuke had to be somewhere... [Name] still felt his presence near. Where could he be? Below? No. Beside? No...Above! [Name] spotted his chakra and quickly dodged Sasuke's attack from above, panting from making her sudden movement. Damn it! Since when did she become so easily tired? [Name] slowly closed her eyes, revealing her rinnegan. She quickly ran up to the tall Uchiha as the two clashed their swords several times. At the last clash, the two pushed all their strength onto their swords, causing the two the stand face to face..

"I won't-" [Name] grunted, pushing more pressure onto her sword. "Let you run away, Sas-u-ke.. Not- this time..."

Sasuke looked into her eyes, revealing her determination to save Itachi from his hands. Sweat began dripping down her face, causing Sasuke to finally realize how hard she was trying. [Name] began to think of what she could do. She had rinnegan! How could she had forgot! She quickly backed up at few feet from Sasuke, causing herself to drop down her sword. [Name] quickly placed her palm away from her and faced it at Sasuke, causing gravity to force him away from her body and hit the tree behind him. As she saw Sasuke laying motionless on the ground, she walked toward him and grabbed her sword off the ground where she had left it.

"You aren't strong enough just yet, Sasuke." She frowned, looking down at the boy. "Come back with me." She stated clearly.

The boy quickly pulled himself up and smirked deviously.

"Why did you stay here and worry about me? Shouldn't you be worrying about the people that are going after Itachi right now?" He asked, panting.

[Name]'s eyes quickly widened as she realized what had happened. This Uchiha fooled her! He got her to stay here and fight him, leaving Itachi unarmed and able to be captured by some other fools! If Itachi came here to let Sasuke kill him, he'd do it again, right? [Name] pushed the Uchiha against the tree with one hand and pulled onto his raven colored hair with another hand, making him smirk in satisfaction of seeing her anger.

"Who is after him?" She questioned, bitterly.

"My team." He paused. "And they've probably already got him."
