After the Battle [Part 7]

"Really? You try to save her now?" He spit.

Naruto didn't laugh like he normally would. He was serious about this, he was serious about saving his friend.

"Don't touch her," He said, continuing to keep eye contact with the onyx-eyed man. "Ever again."

Sasuke placed his hand on his face, leaving one eye uncovered. He chuckled.

"Just leave, Naruto." He said, looking down.

He continued to stand there, wind blowing through his raven hair. Naruto continued to stand his territory with [Name] in his arms.

"What happened to you, Sasuke?" He asked sincerely.

"What the hell are you still here for?" He yelled, glancing at the blonde headed boy. "Get out of here!" Sasuke screamed, pulling out his sword as a means of attack.

"I'm never going to give up on you, Sasuke." Naruto spoke.

The blonde headed boy began to stare down at the ground, smiling.

"Do you remember that time," He grinned and looked up at Sasuke. "That you stood in front of me and took all those needles to save me? The needles covered your entire body. I couldn't believe that you did that to save me."

Sasuke just stood there, watching Naruto's every move. He nodded.

"I couldn't just let you die, Kakashi would have killed me himself."

"Ever since that day," He said. "I knew that I would protect you and [Name], no matter what would happen, no matter what troubles lied ahead us."

Sasuke continued to just grunt, but he began to show no sign of caring about what Naruto was saying at all. Naruto had to grab Sasuke's by his heart.

"Do you remember how close you and Itachi were? Before the accident."

Sasuke's eyes widened. Naruto finally got through to him. It was Itachi, it was always Itachi.

"I never had that sort of love until I met you guys,when I met you guys, I knew I wasn't alone. But you and Orichimaru just took that away from [Name]." He scoffed. " You took away what little bit she had of a real family. I thought that you out of all people would have cared more for this, cared more for her." Naruto said.

Sasuke continued to stand there, as if he were untouched and unbothered. But Naruto knew he wasn't. Sasuke cared more about his brother than anyone before the incident, and bringing him up always got Sasuke's real emotions out. Naruto calmly walked away and took [Name] all the way back to the village. She woke up the next day in a hospital room with Naruto, Sakura, and Hinata. They all smiled at the sight of her eyes opening.

"Good morning, [Name]!" Hinata said quietly.

"I'm so happy that you're feeling better!" Naruto yelled.

"Everyone shut up, she's had a lot of blood loss, you're being too loud for her." Sakura spoke.

[Name] looked down to see Sakura healing her limp body. She smiled.

"Thank you for healing me, Sakura." She said, pulling herself up to sit. "Naruto, what happened?"[Name] questioned.

She had no idea that Sasuke had tried to kill her, it was all a blur.

"You don't remember anything?" He asked, surprised.

[Name] sat in the bed confused. She didn't remember anything. Was she supposed to? She shook her head no. Naruto and the others sighed.
