Chapter 32:
It’s been a while now since Lance and the rest have left the ‘hole’. By now they are all probably out and the Grimm’s have followed them. Time for my plan. I get in position, by shooting myself foot holes and then a place for me to stand in the dirt walls about 30 feet up… reasonable height. About 3 feet from there to get to the ceiling. Then I start shooting the ceiling, I shoot until some of it collapses, a safe distance away. All Grimm’s leave the city and come down here, just as I planned, perfect I thought to myself as the room got filled with them. The room is packed full of Grimm’s in only a few minutes time, some clamoring on top of each other to get to me or some went and licked the toxin… so that’s how their saliva is toxic! They must just be strong enough to have little bits at a time! I thought and smiled by how much my plan will surprise them. When the room in the ‘hole’ was finally packed with all the Grimm’s, I made my move. Happy I stole this, I took the homemade grenade that Rico had made on night and I threw it at the toxic cube, and it burst everywhere, splattering all over the room, killing the Grimm’s. They didn’t have enough time to escape as all the Grimm’s got dissolved and sunk in the toxin. Smiling to myself, I watched the sight, satisfied I had defeated them
… man that was easy I thought.
Crap I said to myself as I realized I had misjudged the amount of toxin in the cube as it slowly flooded the room. I realize it is inching towards me on my platform. The room was going to flood with me in it?!?! How did I not think of that?!
I yelled at myself, looking for a way to escape. There was no escaping. I was stuck here.
Shoot the roof, do it! My mind told me. I wasn’t sure if I should, I mean look where my mind has taken me! Ignoring my cautious side, I shoot at the roof, and don’t stop. My legs started burning as I look down to see the toxin eating my legs. Then there was light, I look up to see stars. All I had to do was jump… but I couldn’t, my legs ached, when I heard a voice;
“Grab him!” and I felt arms around me and I could see stars. I felt movement around me but all I could do was scream in pain as my whole body was skimmed with the toxin, it would eat my body alive. Just as I was thinking that, a mask went over my head and I fell asleep.
