This is me [Part 12]

"Ugh.." He coughed, blood sprawling out of his mouth.

He quickly wiped off the blood and turned back toward [Name]. She was smiling, she had got him.

"You know, Sasuke is still looking for Itachi." He smirked. " What do you think he'll do when he finds out that you're in the Akatsuki?"

[Name] froze. She never thought about that. The entire time she had gotten here, she had been focusing on everything else but her goal. But [Name] knew what Pein was trying to do. She chuckled.

"Ya know," She smiled deviously. "I totally forgot about that jerk, just until now."

As she stood there, she realized that these people wouldn't let her out, even if she won against this man. They'd actually probably go after her instead. And these men were all very powerful. Maybe this 'Pein' could train her instead.

"So Pein, I've got a question."

"Hm?" He asked.

"If I were to agree to join this 'Akatsuki' thing," She spoke, motioning air quotes around Akatsuki. "Would you train me?"

"So you want to join?" He asked, eye brow raised.

[Name] smirked.

"Only if you'll train me."She answered, placing her hands on her hips.

The two stood there in silence. Pein wanted to answer, but he couldn't without the boss's permission. The door was thrown open almost a mere second after she had asked the question. As [Name] looked at the person, she realized that it was that man from earlier. She remembered his words, "Remember, if she loses, which she will, she will become a part of us. Of course, only if she's any good." What a jerk. Who did he think he was to boss Pein around like that? It was the orange masked man.

"He will train you, [Name]." The man spoke in a high pitched voice. "Right, Pein?"

Pein looked over at the man and nodded.

"I guess that's it. You're a part of the Akatsuki now." He said, motioning her to leave. "He'll show you the rest."

A half black and half white male figure arose out of the ground.

"So, I'm taking her to her room?" The man asked.

Pein nodded.

"Come on, [Name]. Let's go." He said, following behind her.

The man and [Name] walked in silence during the way to her room.

"Here it is..." He spoke. "I'm going now."

The man ended with that, melting himself into the ground, the same way he came. What a strange place. What strange people. [Name] shook her thoughts out of her head and opened the door to the room.As she looked at the room number, she smiled.

'Room 14.' She read, tracing the numbers over with her fingers.

She looked inside. The room was not too big, but not too small either. It was just perfect. The walls were tan, almost orange like, and the walls were lined with a few mellow torches. One medium sized mirror hung on the door. A bed sat in the corner next to a active flaming fireplace. A little stool sat next to the bed which held a folded up piece of clothing. As she looked at the clothing, she began to unfold it. It was an Akatsuki jacket. Her smile turned into a frown. At the exact moment she saw the jacket, she could already hear her friends harsh words.

"Are you crazy?"

"You've betrayed us! Never come back, you monster!"

"What kind of friend joins the Akatsuki!"

"You monster!"

"Monster!"

"Monster!"

[Name] sighed. Life wasn't about friendships. At least not anymore. She shook the jacket down and looked at the label lining the inside of the collar.

'[Name] [Surname].' She read aloud in her head.

"Hmph." She chuckled.

They already knew that she was going to join. [Name] slipped off her own Konoha Jacket and looked down at it. Her emotions began to rise, but she pushed them away. [Name] looked down at her jacket one last time, and threw it into the fire with her emotions clinged onto it like a leech. She smirked and reached out her arm to get her new jacket. She put it on and slipped her hands through the loose sleeves. As she stood up, she looked at herself in the mirror. [Name] smiled.

"This is me."
