What does Liam mean? He's definitely not dead. He was supposed to be?

To Liam:

'What do you mean, 'he's supposed to be dead'? He's in the house right now.'

From Liam:

'I saw him... jump off the roof of a building, Baby. My building. Do you think someone would survive that? I think not.'

To Liam:

'Clearly not but why is here then? Alive? And are you on your way?'

From Liam:

'I don't know, Baby, this is insane. And yes I'm on my way, of course I am, love.'

To Liam:

'Good... Maybe he'll tell me if I ask him why he's here? Alive and well. I'll see you in a bit.'

I slide my phone back into my back jean pocket and once I stand up from the bed, the door opens which reveals a smiling Taylor.

"So. Liam is coming?" He asks with the same smile on his face as he walks up to me.

"Yeah, why are you smiling," I ask slowly while sending him a confused look.

"I just found a great guy for me! When Liam gets here, I'll be long gone." I smiled softly. "I'm happy for you, Taylor.. Just answer this one question-"

"I'm here and alive because I'm immortal." He answers and I look at him in shock.

"How?" I asked. "Well my family was immortal.. That's really all I know, so I can live forever. Say hello to Liam for me." Before I could say anything, he vanishes in thin air and Liam comes walking through the door, pulling me into a tight hug once he sees me.

"Oh my god, Baby. I missed you." He starts peppering kisses on my lips, but he stops when he notices my shocked face. "What's wrong? Where's Taylor," he asks slowly, looking into my eyes as I loosen up a bit.

"Taylor he... he's immortal... and... he just vanished..." I managed to say but only quietly since I'm still shocked from what just happened.
