Chapter 29~~Finally together!

Hailey's P.O.V

"I'm not wearing that ."

"I insist. "

"Sienna! "I've never called any grown up by their name before.

"I'll ground you. "

"You're always going to ground me! Huh? This isn't clothing! This skirt is just to short! The shirt isn't bad though . "

"Don't you want loverboy drooling? "She asked.

"No . A simple smile could do. "

"Just ...wear it. "

"Fine. "I actually did want Ryder to drool but I'm not going to admit that to anybody.

I regret telling my grandmother about the dinner.

I regret asking for help.

I regret even agreeing to the dinner!

I shredded off my clothing then hoped into the shower.

Not to long after I'm dressed, my hair's up in a pretty bun, and my face is lightly dusted with makeup.

I slipped on my bracelet and my short, leather heels then walked to the living room for my grandmother's critics.

"What do you think of the skirt?"

"Not bad ,actually I like it."

"You see . Don't judge a book by its cover ."

"I'll be next door ."

"Okay."

I walked over to Ryder's place and lightly knocked on the door .

A middle-aged woman opened up the door "Hello, I'm Peyton . You must be Hailey ,Ryder said so much about wanting this dinner perfect for you .I hope you like it . I spent this whole week perfecting this ."

"Whatever you have prepared ,I'll love ."

"Ryder !Hailey's here !"she screamed .

"I'm coming! "

The thumping of his feet on the carpet indicated he was nearing us.

"You two should go upstairs. I'll be finishing up dinner. "

Ryder nodded and dragged me to his room.

I took a seat at his couch and he sat on his bed.

"So ..."I laughed nervously.

I'm going to admit my feelings to him today. But I don't want to be to quick.

"Why are you nervous? "He asked.

"N-no reason. "I bite my nails.

Every time I was nervous I'd bite my nails.

"I've g-got something t-to tell y-you -R-Ryder ."

Now or never!

"What is it? "He asked confused.

"I-I..."

"You? "

"I-I l-like... "

"You like? "

"I admire ..."

Just come out already!

"I like you, Ryder. "

"You what? "

"I like you, a lot. "

Finally!

"You like me? "

"Yeah. "I hanged my head and blushed.

"Oh my gosh! You like me! I like you to! I really like you!" He jumped in joy ."Umm, I meant "he coughed" I meant, that's great. "

I didn't know he actually felt like this. I thought he was coaxing me.

Then he did the unexpected. He kissed me. I immediately reacted.

I kissed him back.

I loved the feel of his soft lips on mine. The way our lips moved in sync was fabulous.

We soon parted to catch our breath.

Seconds later and we're kissing again.

I just couldn't get enough of him.

"So does this mean we're a couple now?" I asked after our kiss.

"I think so. Do you want ...to be my girlfriend? "

"The question is, do you want to be my boyfriend. "

"I do want to be your boyfriend. "

"Then I do want to be your girlfriend. "

This is like a dream come true!

Ryder! My boyfriend!
Me! His girlfriend!
