Chapter 28 ~~I really like him

Sienna's P.O.V

"Yes, Hailey has been the best! She's been studying and doing great! "I lied.

"Okay, tell her I said hi and keep up the good work. "

I was on the phone with Hailey's mother, my daughter .

"I will tell her .Bye. " she politely ended the call afterwards.

"Hailey! "I shouted her name.

"Coming! "She yelled, then I heard the pounding of her feet on the tiled floor.

She arrived not to long after "What do you need? "She asked nicely.

She was such a sweet kid.

She was the complete opposite of her mother when she was a teen.

"Your mother said Hi. "

"Oh, that's it? "

"Yeah. "

"She didn't tell you anything else? "

"No. "I shook my head.

"That's odd. She normally gives a long speech. "

"That's it. "

"Wow! Something's wrong. Something's really wrong. She's hiding something. "

"She didn't mention anything suspicious. "

"We need to find out. But how? "

"Let's just leave that alone. It's no big deal really. "

It really was no big deal.

"Do you know something? "

"No,I swear. "

"You better not be lying. I've invested all my trust into you. "

Hailey's P.O.V

I heard the pecks on my window and instantly knew it was Ryder.

I opened the window to see him grinning from ear to ear.

"My mother's having a Thanksgiving dinner and I was wondering if you wanted to tag along. "

"Sure. When is this dinner? "I asked .

"On Thanksgiving . "

I'm so dumb!

"This Sunday. "

"Okay,I'll be there ." I smiled.

I'm falling for Ryder!

I really like him.

The more he acts gentleman-y the more I like him.

But I can't bring myself to admit that to him.

He probably lied about liking me.
Well I guess I'll just find out at this dinner.
