I can feel someone pulling my arms, trying to get me out of here.

I shake, tears running down my face.

Someone's finally trying to get me out of here.

I couldn't take the sights of the bodies any longer, so I let myself go limp and wait, until the bright flash clouded my vision.

When I open my eyes, I see a small crowd of people standing over me, worried.

Oh right, I forgot that I was last in the Southlands when it started.

Grian, Impulse, Jimmy, Mumbo, and Ren were all standing over me, worry, concern and relief flooding their faces. Grian was the first to bend down, and my eyes met his.

"Martyn, what happened? I saw you on the ground, shaking and crying." Grian asks softly. I take a moment to control my breathing before I respond.

"I.. I don't know Grian. Just- one moment, I was in the Southlands, and then I was in a dark room, with all of your bodies surrounding me. It was a hallucination, I know it." I reply, watching as my friends faces shift into horror. Grian was the first to speak, again.

"Our bodies? What do you mean by that?" He asks, worried.

"It was just- all of your bodies were in the room with me, and you were all dead, unmoving." I whisper, tears forming in my eyes again. The others stayed silent for a moment, until Ren bent down and pulled me into a hug. Ren often have hugs, but this hug felt like a special one. Just like it was meant for only one person. Me. As soon as I felt Ren's arms wrap around me, I start crying again, and I hear whispers as the others start to leave, leaving me and Ren alone.

Ren's trying to calm me down with soft words, and he rubs my back in small circles. I cling onto him, worried that if I let go, then I'll lose him.

After a bit, I start to calm down, my tears falling less and less and my breathing going back to normal. Ren pulls back slightly, looking at me up and down.

"Are you feeling better? The others left so it's just you and me now." He says, worried still slightly engraved in his face.

"Yeah, I'm better now. Thanks for calming me down." I respond, standing up. Ren is quick to follow, standing up next to me and pulling me close. He gives me a quick peak on the cheek and we start to walk to my base, hand in hand.

At least, I have people who care for me, and would do anything to keep me safe.
