<Inthelittlewood was shot by GoodTimeWithScar>

Martyn opened his eyes, gasping as he sat up. He was in a field full of flowers, and war was no where to be seen. He was all alone, the only sounds he could hear was his breathing and the slight breeze.

"Where am I?" Martyn asked himself. He didn't get an answer. All he got was silence.

Martyn closed his eyes, feeling a headache come in as he started to remember everything in his final moments.

[----------]

Martyn held Ren's head in his hands. The King was dead, shot by their enemy, Scar. Arrow wounds penetrated Ren's skin, his his usually brown eyes were grey. Blood dripped from his mouth, and he wasn't moving.

Martyn felt tears stream down his face as he cried, holding his lover's body close to him.

In that moment, all time seemed to stop, and Martyn didn't care about the war raging on anymore.

He didn't even care that Scar, Ren's killer, was right behind him.

His King was dead, and he was so tired.

Martyn wanted to avenge Ren, so he could see him again, yet his body was just so tired. He was exhausted from all the fighting, and he just wanted to see Ren again.

So, even if his enemy was right behind him, and Martyn could kill Scar at any second, he turned around and ran.

Scar was quick to chase after him, firing arrows one after another, shooting at Martyn.

The King had fallen, and now, only his Hand was left.

Despite the fact that arrows were already piercing Martyn's skin, he continued to run.

He ran, until Scar sent the final arrow, and it launched itself in Martyn's head.

Martyn fell to the ground, dead.

At least he could see Ren again.

[----------]

Martyn opened his eyes again, hugging his knees to his chest.

Despite that fact that he wasn't a winner, he was a Listener.

And Listeners and Watchers could remember everything that has happened in the Life Games.

Martyn tried to take in all that he remembered, burying his face into his knees.

He was dead, yet where was Ren?

He was about to get up to search for Ren, until he heard his voice.

"Martyn!?" Martyn turned around, and he saw Ren a slight distance away, staring at him in disbelief.

"Ren..!" Martyn cried, running over to Ren. He quickly launched himself onto Ren, and the two fell backwards, landing on the soft flowers. Martyn quickly latched himself onto Ren, yet he gave Ren enough room to breathe.

"Is this the afterlife?" Ren asked. Martyn didn't respond, he only pulled himself closer to Ren. Ren knew that he wasn't going to get an answer, and he wrapped his arms around Martyn.

"I'm sorry that I probably freaked you out when I died." Ren muttered into Martyn's hair.

"It's fine. I just wanted to see you again, my love." Martyn whispered, and Ren blushed slightly at the nickname.

"I love you Ren.." Martyn muttered, and Ren smiled.

"I love you too Martyn.." Ren whispered, closing his eyes. Martyn and Ren could've stayed like that forever, yet at some point, they had to go home.

Until then, they had each other, and they had their paradise. Their paradise was the two of them, together, no war, and they were happy.
