Bobby's family make fathers day special

Fathers day is a rough time for Bobby. As much as he loves athena and he loves her kids he still misses his own specially on fathers day.

Athena knew this and dicided she wanted to do something for him. She had a four step plan

First she needed to talk to all the kids without Bobby which isn't easy. She called her ex. "Hey Micheal I have a favor" she says softly

"Hey athena whats up?" He asks and she smiled.

They had a good marriage and she was glad they ended it on good terms.

"I wanna do something special for fathers day for bobby" she explains and knows that Bobby and Micheal are friends so he understands why.

"That's a good idea. Fathers day has been hard for him the last few years" Micheal says and athena smiles

"So I need you to invite him over so he is out of the house. I have to talk to all the kids but that's not easy without him hearing" she says and he chuckled

"Got you. I better be invited" Micheal teased

"Of course you are" she said and then they hang up

Athena then sends a text message out to everyone. She sends it to buck, eddie, chimney, hen, may, Harry and added Maddie since her and chimney are married now

She looked at the time seeing it was just now turning noon. She turned to her phone and starts typing

"Hey everyone I nerd to talk to you all about something please come over to the nash-grant house around 2pm thank you" she hits sent and waits

She doesn't have to wait long before the texts come in

"Ok mom" from Harry

"Might be a bit late due to class but I'll be there" from May

"Yes ma'am" from buck

"Ok be there" from eddie no doubt sitting next to buck

"Want me to bring anything?" From hen

Followed by "like alcohol?" From chimney

"I'll bring some kid drinks" Maddie replies the mom in her coming out

"The kids drinks woild be nice but i think i have the rest handled." athena responds and then bobby walks into the room

She puts her phone away and he kisses her. "Micheal called me and asked if I could come over and help with something" he explains

"Oh? What does he need help with?" She asks trying to act normal and also wanted to know what he came up with

"Not sure he didn't say" Bobby says and she chuckled

"Must be important then. I'll see you later" she said and they kiss again before Bobby is leaving

Part 1 of her plan is going just how she was hoping it would. She gets out snacks and some drinks for the others when they arive

The first to arive is Harry and may" "Mom I'm here sorry I'm early figured you could use some help"

"Hey baby come in the kitchen I could use a little help" athena responds and hugs him as soon as he is in the door

She sees may and smiled "I thought you said you were going to be late" athena says and may hugs her

"Nah I just ranted to get Harry" she said and they both help her set up.
