Oooh Jude
𖣘ꨄ❤︎

I'm not sure if it was too early to call, but a week had passed, and Jude had been an absolute gentleman. I thought while I was busy admiring the roses he sent to my dorm, I was shocked to be called back by security to collect them.

As I held the bouquet of roses in my hands, I couldn't help but smile at the thoughtfulness of his gesture. It wasn't just the flowers that made my heart flutter; it was the little acts of romance he had been showering me with all week.

The first surprise came when I found a handwritten note tucked inside one of my textbooks. It was a sweet message from Jude, expressing his admiration for me and thanking me for being a bright spot in his life. The fact that he took the time to write me a note and hide it where he knew I would find it warmed my heart. It was a pleasant surprise when I opened the book in class. The girl who sat beside me, must have thought I was high because every five minutes I read it and giggled to myself.

Then there was the evening he surprised me with a candlelit dinner in his room. He had prepared all my favorite dishes himself, which was funny as he explained how he carefully watched YouTube and tiktok videos for help. It was such a cute gesture to me, and I couldn't help but feel special as we shared the meal together. It actually wasn't bad I graded him a solid 7 out of 10.

As if that wasn't enough, he had also arranged for a day of pampering at the spa. He had booked us both massages, facials, and access to all the luxurious amenities the spa had to offer. It was a sweet escape from the stresses of everyday life, and I couldn't thank him enough for the experience.

Throughout it all, Jude was the perfect gentleman, attentive to my every need and desire. He held open doors, pulled out chairs, and never failed to make me feel like the most important person in the world. It was as if he had made it his mission to sweep me off my feet, and I found myself falling for him more deeply with each passing day.

As I reminisced about all the cute and romantic things Jude had done for me, I couldn't help but feel grateful to have him in my life. Despite the rocky start, I could tell he was trying and there's nothing sexier than effort in my eyes.

It's hard to shake the memory of the incident with the girl in his hotel room, and I wondered if I could truly trust him not to repeat his mistakes. But I was the one who agreed to another chance, I gave him the redemption and in order to stay by that I had to make peace with his actions of the past.

I knew that rebuilding trust would take time and effort on both our parts, but I was willing to give him a chance to prove himself.

As I placed the bouquet of roses in a vase on my desk, I made a silent vow to myself to approach what we had with an open heart and mind. I didn't want to let the fear of being hurt prevent me from experiencing the love and happiness that Jude could offer.

As Reece barged into the shared room, the unmistakable scent of marijuana followed behind her. "I'm so tired of school," she groaned, slumping onto her bed with a dramatic sigh. Reece hardly ever attended her classes, yet she complained about them incessantly. I never understood it nor did I try to.

Despite our living arrangement, Reece and I weren't particularly close – in fact, we rarely spoke about anything other than necessary roommate matters. And even those conversations were rare. This far into the semester, there's no hope of that relationship improving. I mean, she did help me that one time I was really wasted, but that didn't hold a torch to her list of offences.
