"6 years later"
Ryu is second in his class and passes the final exam with ease. While examining the students that passed in order to determine their squads Kakashi noticed something odd. He said "You know if this Naruto kid didn't fail we would not have an equal number of Genin and would have a group of four Genin in one squad, but then again looking at these scores it's not like he could possibly be a ninja. If he became a ninja I would pity the poor fool who would have to be his master."
Naruto then did his scene in the forest resulting in him passing.
"The morning of choosing squads"
Iruka said "Well surprisingly everyone, including Naruto, managed to pass. The only problem is that there was a counting error at the beginning of the year and as a result there will be a team of 4." He went through squads 1-6 and it is time for squad 7. Iruka continued "Squad 7 will be Naruto, Sakura"
"You've got to be kidding me.", Said Sakura.
Iruka continued "Sasuke,"
"Yes some good luck after all.", Cheered Sakura
"Aw man.", Complained Ino.
Iruka now annoyed by the interruptions continued "And squad number 7 it is your lucky day you also get Ryu making you the first squad in the history of the village to have 4 Genin."
Ino complained "Why do they get both Sasuke and Ryu?"
Iruka ignored her and continued "Now as you all know these teams are supposed to be equal in power so you may be wondering why both Ryu and Sasuke are on the same squad."
Ino yelled "That's exactly what we're wondering."
Iruka yelled back "I was getting to that Ino, you see Naruto's scores were so bad it takes both Ryu's and Sasuke's to even it out."
"Oh come on man that's not fair.", complained Naruto.
Iruka yelled back at Naruto "Shut up you brat and be glad we let you be a ninja at all." Iruka was now clearly annoyed at the interruptions so the students shut up and let him finish with the squads.
"The next day"
Kakashi walks into the room and gets hit with an eraser. He decides he hates us and takes us onto the roof for interviews. Standing there is a strange little girl petting a dog and holding a toy panda.
