I walking the hallways of school trying to get to class so I can study for the upcoming test Ms. Nim mentioned about a few days ago.

"They're so cute together" "obviously. I heard before that her family and his family are trying to find an agreement so they can be together."

"A forbidden love!" "But I also heard... that Kim Ji Hyun confessed to him" I heard my name in their mouths.

What do they know?

"How would you know?" Another girl asked her friend "Seung Ho oppa, and Ji Hyun were always together with the others. Now they're rarely seen together... why do they there's so much distance? One obviously confessed, and it wasn't Seung Ho oppa. Why would he like that?"

I stayed looking down at the ground. My eyes met with two pair of legs. I looked up from the floor. My eyes widened; it was Seung Ho and Hana together.

"Ji Hyun," she smiled at me "Hana? Where have you been?" I asked. "Paris," she crossed her arms, trying to smudge me, I glanced at Seung Ho and looked back at her.

"What're you two doing together?" "Aren't you filled with questions today" Hana locked hands with him. "We just came from the cafeteria together, we're trying to work things out with each out" she smiled big.

She's doing the most talking... so it's not true.

I looked over to Seung Ho looking for his confirmation.

"Yeah, we're working things out" "oh... good for you so then" I maintained my tone the same, as if I didn't care. I walked past them.

But no. I did care. I cared so much.

I met with Ae Cha and Ha Joon. "Ha Joon."

That's right. I was given a second chance, I need to start focusing on him.

From that day on, I kept my word. I focused on Ha Joon and no one else.

Days passed since I last spoke to Seung Ho. Days turned into weeks. And the only time I saw him, without Hana. Was when Myung Seouk would greet Ae Cha during passing periods.

I wonder how Bong Joon felt about Hana and Seung Ho.

But other than that, I pretended Seung Ho didn't exist and that nothing ever happened.

The month finished, and it was already October. A week before Halloween.

I was sitting outside of the school with Ha Joon.

"Ji Hyun! Ha Joon!" She ran to us, before Ha Joon could take a sip of his drink. Ae Cha snatched it and gulped it down her throaty. Ha Joon was bamboozled.

"Feel better Ae Cha?" Ha Joon asked "mhm!" She was hydrated now. "We were invited to Myung Seouk's Halloween party."

"No. You were invited" I corrected her "he added your name and Ha Joon's name. Because and I quote,"cool"" she made quotation marks with her fingers.

"C'mon, Ji Hyun!" She shoved Ha Joon to the side and sat next to me. "Don't let me go by myself! I'm prety, and small girl" she gave me puppy eyes.

"Would you let something happen to me?" She pressed her body against mine, I tried resisting her puppy eyes.

"Alright, fine!" I gave in "yay!!" She cheered. "Are you coming as well Ha Joon?" He nodded no "can't. Have to waiter this other party".

"Alright! It's settled then!" Ae Cha pulled me up "I have to take her now! We have to figure out our costumes! Bye Ha Joon!" "I'll text you!" I shouted at Ha Joon and I let her pull me away.

Ha Joon sighed and smiled to himself.

We were running in the halls.

"Why are we even running Ae Cha?" "I don't know!" I stopped in my tracks but Ae Cha ran into someone causing to fall. "Ae Cha!" I helped her up, good thing it was just Da Chul.

"Sorry," Ae Cha apologized and helped him up, even picked his book up and handed it back. "It's alright, Ae Cha. But this is why we don't run" "I guess you're right" she smiled nervously.

"Are you going to Myung Seouk's party by the way?" He bright up "yeah!" Ae Cha answered for us. "Everyone is going to be there. Myung Seouk throws the best parties around here" Da Chul pointed out.

"Then we shouldn't be expected some lousy party, right?" "Right."

"Well I'll see you til then" we said our goodbyes. "You seem close to Da Chul. You don't use honorifics?" I mentioned "nah. I've gotten closer to all of them cause of Myung Seouk" Ae Cha explained.

"They're kinda like big brothers to me. They very much take care of me too" "that's good" "by the way, Ji Hyun. You do know Seung Ho and Hana might be there" I stayed quiet.

"So?" You finally spoke up "I heard, you and Seung Ho left off bad terms" I scoffed "don't make it sound like we were dating" I replied.

"Are they even dating" I asked "mm, Myung Seouk says not technically. But if there's Seung Ho, there's Hana. They're always together. And they've kissed a couple of times when they're with us" a lump was formed in my throat.

"Good for them. Seems like they're working things out" "somewhat. Myung Seouk thinks that whole relationship is one sided" I noticed we were getting closer to the classroom, and thank god we were.

The week by and I've finally chose my costume. Ae Cha said hers was a secret and wanted to surprise me.

I was getting dressed for the party at Ae Cha's place.

Ae Cha stepped out, "do you like it?" She was of course, a bunny. So Ae Cha of her. "You look cute" I smiled "cute? I wanna go for sexy! Maybe Myung Seouk can dick me d—" I cut her off.

"Keep that to yourself!" I shouted "what're you going as" Ae Cha sat next to me while she watched me paint my arm.

"Nami from One Piece during the Fishman island arc" "I never watched One Piece so I don't know what you said" "I'll style your hair. How does it look?" I showed her a picture, she started brushing my hair.

I finished getting ready for the party.

Ae Cha squealed, "you look so cute!!!"
