FIRST POV
SEUNG HO'S

"What?" She stared at me in disbelief.

She looks traumatized.

"Ji Hyun..." I stepped closer "I'm in love with you" I looked at her straight in the eyes, she scoffed "do you really hate Ha Joon that much? That isn't a funny joke, Seung Ho" I can tell.

She's trying to play it off cause she doesn't feel the same.

I bit my under lip.

"Now go, because he's on his way" she smiled and tried pushing me away "Ji Hyun," I grabbed her hands, she looked up at me. "Seung Ho, please tell me you're joking" her eyes sparkled. I nodded no.

I cuffed her face, "Ji Hyun, I love you. I've been loving you since I met you" "you have?" She sounded surprised "but—" "I know. I'm aware how I acted, and I can't change anything from before. But I'm willing to."

I can't read her. Why can't I read her like before?

Her expression changed, she removed my hands off of her cheeks.

"You just don't want me to be with Ha Joon. All of sudden you're in love with me? After what? Being married for more than a decade? Yeah right."

She glared at me. "You're really something Seung Ho" "Ji Hyun—" I was interrupted "Ji Hyun? Seung Ho?" We heard Ha Joon behind us.

No...

"Ha Joon," I saw her face glow up. "What're you two doing here?" Ha Joon asked, Ji Hyun looked at me "nothing, right?" She smiled ".... Right."

"Let's go. I'm kinda tired. Have a good night Seung Ho" they both walked away. I was left alone.

JI HYUN'S

Ha Joon dropped me off. "Are you sure you're okay? You've been spacing out since the docks with Seung Ho? Did he do something to you? Cause I swear to—" I cut him off.

"No, no. He didn't do anything. He checked up on me and was gonna leave until you got there" I lied. "Promise?" I didn't hesitate at all and nodded.

Ha Joon went to his place that was around the corner. I finally shut my door, my face was pale and I felt numb. My knees finally gave in.

I fell to my knees and cuffed my mouth. I started sobbing.

-flashback-

I was looking at him in shock. I didn't know what to say.

"Now go, because he's on his way" I smiled at him "Ji Hyun," he grabbed my hands, I looked up at him. "Seung Ho, please tell me you're joking" I looked at him deeply, my eyes widened when he nodded no.

Seung Ho held my face.

This is genuine. I can see it, I can feel it.

Kiss him, Ji Hyun. I want to kiss him.

I tip toed a little so I can exchange a deep kiss with him and live my happy life with him like I always wanted it to be before. Until I realized.

I wouldn't. Cause one us would be erased.

I removed his hand off of me.
