"What happened? Why did you try to take your own life?" Navin exclaimed, concern evident in his voice.

Trisha, looking at Navin, replied, "I have loved someone sincerely, but in the end, he broke up with me. So, I felt like I had no reason to live and decided to commit suicide."

"You wanted to die because he broke up with you. Don't you remember you have parents that you need to take care of? Isn't that a reason to live?"

Navin's voice grew louder as he spoke to Trisha and added, "Why does everyone think their life is over if someone leaves them? That person isn't the one who brought you into this world, and that person isn't the one who taught you how to walk or made you laugh when you cried. And definitely, that person isn't going to take care of you if you ever lose all the wealth you have."

Navin's outburst confused everyone, and some of the police in the room even clapped for what he said. But Rajesh bhai silenced everyone and said, "Quite a speech, but why did you said such a lengthy dialogue? And why the sudden anger towards her? You barely know her, right?"

I turned towards Navin and whispered, "Try to cover it up, or else everyone will know you have feelings for Trisha."

"I am sorry, sir," Navin replied softly. "It's not just about her. I've seen many people like her."

He looked at me and continued, "They all have the same thought in their minds. If their loved ones cheated on them or broke up with them, they think it's over for them and become either alcohol addicts or attempts suicide. And, I'm already too irritated seeing all this. Maybe that's the reason why I reacted like that."

Looking at trisha, he continued, "And I'm sorry, Trisha, I didn't mean to talk to you like that."

At first, I thought he was just trying to act, but I was wrong, it's all came from his heart. Every word he said, I couldn't help but think he was indirectly referring to me and Trisha.

Rajesh bhai appeared to agree with Navin, yet he looked at him with a hint of suspicion.

Turning to Trisha, Rajesh bhai inquired, "Now I understand. So, Nitya came to the school to save you, and that's when Riyaz and Stephen attacked you, right?"

"Yes, sir, that's correct, nitya followed me to the school roof, and tried to stop me from dying but that's when Stephen hit her in the head, and made her unconscious" Trisha confirmed.

"Tell me trisha, do you still want to commit suicide?" Rajesh bhai asked.

Navin also tensed, and eager to listen what she might say but good for him, trisha replied, saying, "No, sir, I've changed my mind, and now I want to live this life to the fullest,"

Rajesh bhai appreciated her decision, saying, "I'm happy for you."

However, as he looked at the file, he added, "Now, I have something to say to all four of you. From what you guys told, I understand one thing, there is a high chance that there is another culprit in this case besides Riyaz and Stephen."

His words left us shocked, as we didn't understand how we could have missed the third one. We wondered if this person was present at the school or operating from the outside.
