What the fuck is that?

I thought whilst being deep within the depths of the sensations, blurry images of my dream fell back into it's time and I quickly came back to the present, my hands dragging out from underneath the covers to hold firm of the wiggling body that was presently slapping it's tongue on my nose.

"Salt!" I hissed in a groan as he put his whole weight around my neck. I realize that this was now his favorite thing to do in the mornings, I don't know if I wanted to scold him for his over excitement or not.

Slumping my back onto the headboard, I breathed a sigh and the thought of scolding him came to an end when I held his big brown eyes and just like that I hated the fact that he had a soft spot in my heart.

Sending the Doberman a soft glare, he immediately ran off to wherever and I drag my body from the bed, widening the curtains to let the natural sunlight in. I wince at the bright light flooding in and quickly make my way to the bathroom for a quick freshen up.

I pull up the suitcase from the ground and settle it unto the unmade sheets. Making quick works, I unzip the bag and slipped out a pair of wash denim knee length boots which had a pointed toe and a denim pants to wear with a white hoodie.

Throwing the hoodie over my body as the last garment to my dressing, a knock came to the door suddenly.

Calling out to whomever was knocking, the voice of the yacht staff member advice me that we were just two minutes away until we reached the Venice border.

Whistling to wake up a clearly sleeping Salt, I scoffed at the fact that he had the balls to wake me up out of my sleep and then engage in one of his very own.

Walking the steps up to the upper deck, I notice that the yacht was getting closer to a dock with a familiar man standing there with both of his hands across his chest.

"Welcome to Venice, Miss Ruiz." The Captain spoke up from behind me as he indulge in a cigar, contaminating the afternoon air with smoke.

Sending him a stiff smile, the yacht sways a bit as it came to a stop and I quickly walk down the steps towards a smiling Rafael who kindly took my suitcase from my hands.

"When Nava told me that I would have company, I didn't expect you." I mused as we began walking across the docks and onto a layer of sand that stretches across the surface.

Rafael grinned and then click a set of keys towards a black sleek BMW that was parked underneath a tree. "There's so much you don't know about me then Red, I have been working for the Black's family for two years now as one of their men and as such was asked to pick you up for a smooth transition."

With both eyebrows tilting up, my lips mobile into a pout at his response and I then nod in surprise. "So the other day when you told me that you were investigating a crime robbery, was that a lie or...."

He slammed the trunk closed and shrugged his shoulders. "Nah, I wasn't lying that crime robbery had everything to do with Lorenzo's current situation."

I sink into the leather seat of the passenger side and strapped the seatbelt across my chest, it click in closed and I sighed as Rafael press down on break which fueled a loud bop from the muffler, the engine grumbled in a rough purr sound and after a couple seconds, the car flew forward.

"So is it-"

He shook his head to cut me off and I watch the attractive scene of the sea that was on his side of the road. On my hand there laid the side of a mountain that had a few rocks embedded in the soil.

"This car might be bugged so please be mindful of the questions you ask alright? These people take their work serious and will not hesitate to pull the trigger if they see things that aren't in their favor."

I knew the lengths these men would take if they sus out something that is out of the ordinary, I was not about to go up against some unorganized gang, these men has a whole underground organization running and I wouldn't be surprise if they had the police department of Venice eating out of their hands.

I had to be careful, the missing information on Lorenzo was a clear fact that he was dangerous and if he wanted to be found he had the power to do so and no one could do shit about it.

For the remainder of the car ride we didn't indulge in much conversation, the scenery eventually change to that of the beautiful city of Venice, locals flooded the streets and I almost sighed as I took in the authentic structure of the buildings.

Everything was too damn awestruck. Within the time of thirty minutes, Rafael turn the car down into a empty road which on both sides of the road had ancient bricks that belong to tightly closed buildings.

He took a sharp left and drove over a bridge that led us into a forest, this road was a bit empty and I took note of the large sign that we passed couple minutes earlier that stated Black's private property.

We drove up a long hill and I gape at the large amount of tress that went across the land below us.

"Why do they even need this much property?" I asked gaping as we drove down the hill with various amount of palm tress surrounding the area.

Rafael glance at me for a second and shift gear as we propel through the road. "Its been five years since the family moved to this area, since it is a very developed family making billions of dollars weekly and with new inventory coming in they needed a larger space to carry out their goal. The family's biggest income is drugs with a sixty percent mark and Lorenzo has decided that he wanted to build a new large warehouse within the property."

Nodding along to his words it confirmed everything that I suspected that these men were not an unorganized family who didn't know what they were doing, so If I wanted to bring forth my revenge and enough information for River, I needed to be careful.

I took in every scene around me, stunned at the amount of land they had. I didn't miss the waterfall that was currently flowing down toward the left side as we flew pass it. It was simply beautiful.

The rushing soft sound it gave calmed me and I breathed a sighed at the sound.

Rafael laughed. "You should go there one day it's absolutely stunning." He said as he glance at me then drove up towards a water fountain that was up ahead.

I nodded my head and grinned. "Maybe I should."

He pulled up to the large water fountain and the sight behind it have me stunned once again, the mansion before me was large within the perimeter of a 10 acre estate.

It had white paintings with neatly cut tress among both sides of the front door. To the far left it has a trimmed lawn that led out to a wide large infinity pool.

"Ready?" Rafael question as he cut the engine and proceeded to open his door.

Breathing a soft sigh, I shrugged as I continue to overlook the whole estate, unbelieve still rocking my system.

"If undecided was a person, that would be me right now..."
