But what is a hero, but someone who sacrifices; and, a villain, someone who is judged for those sacrifices? It's a story of victors and one-sided tales from the perspective of the one society find most societally acceptable. Most charming. Most beautiful, captivating. Bravest. Sometimes the bravest thing one can do is to save themselves. Even if it means they'll be judged for doing so. Even if it means choosing between who they are and who the public thinks they are.
