Sun and Rain - A Love Story

Sun and Rain had a love like no other.
They seldom saw each other,
And when they did, it was in opposition.
Rain saw that his subjects were hot, 
And so he fell down upon them.
Sun saw that his subjects were wet,
And so she shone and dried it all up.
Where Rain was wanted, Sun was not.
The reverse was just as true.
And then, one day, came along Moon.

And Rain and Moon loved to joke
And hang out by the Stars,
But Sun couldn't come out when Moon was awake.
Sun and Rain's time together was coming to an end.
Their relationship, short;
Their love for each other, vast.
And while Rain ran off with Moon,
They knew that Sun would be fine.

Because Sun found her place with Sky.
