New chapter new target.

50+ votes for the next update.

Seeing the condition of the votes, I guess I have at least 2 days to relax until the target is completed.

Well, good for me.

This chapter is the highlight of my book. It took me a lot of effort to write this chapter. You can say that this is the interval chapter of the book. And you all will love the next chapters.

From here, the real journey of Siddhant and Mishti will start.

Siddhant's POV. -

I smiled while driving back home. Ishaan accompanied me as we both chatted while driving back. He left for his house while I came to mine. When I entered the house, I saw Ved Bhaiya, Prem and Chachu sitting in the hall and talking. All the ladies had gone to the function so only we men were in the home.

I smiled and walked towards them. They noticed me and Prem grinned towards me making me sigh.

"Where are you coming from?"

He asked making me smile a little. Chachu looked at me and extended his hand.

"Are Siddhant. Aao, betho."

(Oh Siddhant. Come, sit.)

I smiled at him and sat beside him. He took my injured hand in his.

"Is it better now?"

He asked gently making me nod. He hummed and looked at Ved Bhaiya.

"Bhai sahab called in the morning. He said that Bauji is doing fine. And the work is also going well. We need to go back soon so that the work won't get piled up."

He said making us all nod. Avin called me in the morning to tell me the same. A few meetings and contract signings are pending. Although it's not something urgent, but it's better not to delay it.

"I'm feeling hungry."

Prem said making us all chuckle. I excused myself to change while the others moved towards the dining hall.

I came into my room and changed into normal clothes. All the while my lips had a small smile. The way she was talking today, she felt relieved. There was no hesitation in her words and actions. Until yesterday, she had something that was bothering her. But today, it looked like she crossed that hesitation.

My smile widened as I recalled her face while talking with a pout. She made my heart tingle a lot today. Her little mistakes and her hypnotising eyes staring into mine. Everything felt so beautiful. I just wish to tell her my feelings and express them openly. So that I would not need to get embarrassed.

I chuckled and shook my head. I ruffled my hair to dry it. I turned around to walk out of the room but my absent-minded steps stumbled on the table making me wince. I groaned and felt the sudden uneasiness. It was not only because of the pain but something else. I frowned a little.

Ignoring it, I came out of the room and came downstairs. I saw everyone sitting at the dining table for dinner. I joined them and the worker served me the food. We all, after a long time, enjoyed only men's time.

Finishing the food, we washed our hands and came into the hall again. We again sat together and had some business talk. I kept glancing at the clock to see it was turning late.

"When are Maa and others coming back?"

I asked with a slight pout making Prem chuckle and nudge me. I glanced at him and he wiggled his eyebrows making me thin my lips. He giggled and I shook my head while looking down to hide my smile.
