Another day in the lovely inkwell isles and you were thrilled to do a competitive art competition against chalice and mugman as you and the cup teamed up.
The 4 of you had gone to porkrinds Emporium and were looking at the crafty stuff such as paint brushes,paint, crayons etcetera.
All was well and good until the brothers got into one of their classical arguments over nothing..
"No you did it!"
"No you did it!"
"You did!"
"You did!"
You did!"

They begun to fight and you and chalice just looked at each other.
"Should we break it up?" You asked
"Nuh just let them fight" chalice replied
"You do realise if the do knock anything over you'll be paying for it right?" Porkrind asked
You and chalice looked at each other and went to break the boys up but it was to late and they knocked the potion shelf..
"Oh no not again!"
"Cuppy!-"
Once smash and the brothers were drenched and you couldn't help but get excited when you realised what potion had smashed on them...the youth potion!.

"Why are you excited?" Chalice asked
"Because I know what potion they got hit with" you replied
Sure enough both of the brothers disappeared under their clothes.
"Oh no!" Chalice gasped
"Relax I've got them pay porkrind with this" you declared passing her some coins..
You walked over and lifted the clothing after kneeling down to see a baby cuphead and a baby mugman..
"Aww their so tiny!"
"I know"
Mugman was crying and cuphead already knowing what to do was leaning out to you with pouchy eyes.
"Okay mister c'mon"
You lifted cuphead up after wrapping him up in one arm and then mugman after wrapping him up with the other..
"Hey chalice do you want to get their clothes?" You asked after she payed the pig 🐖.
"Me? Touch their clothes?" Chalice asked
"Would you rather carry them?" You asked
"Well no" she replied
"Well?" You asked
"Can't I just put them on your back or something?" She asked
You huffed
"Fine"
You knelt down again and chalice out their clothes over your shoulder..
You soon left..
She followed for a bit then asked.
"Where are you going with them?"
"Well I have clothes for cuphead because this has happened before but I have none for mugman so we're going to the city and getting some clothes for him" you replied
"Oh heh..do you need my help?" She asked
"Chalice I can't carry both the boys,their clothes and baby clothes..so yes I need your help just for now then later if you want to go you can" you replied
"It's just I'm not good with kids..baby's especially.." she replied
"Its fine"
You replied
Mugman was still crying and cuphead was tapping your right arm and sticking his tongue out spitting everywhere..
"Cuppy stop spitting come on now..mugman hey hey your alright your safe I've got you nothing's going to happen to you" you gently declared..
As if they understood you cuphead stopped spitting and stared at you with confusion and mugman stopped crying and calmed down only to look around and at the cup and you..
"Wow Y/N your really good with them" chalice declared
"I know"
Mugman tried to go to cuphead who looked at his squirming brother.
"Eghaghag"
"Mufgfg"
"Did they just say each other's names?" Chalice asked
"Their trying to.." you replied
When you both arrived at the city mugman got scared and hid in your shirt but cuphead was happy and leant his hands up in the air in excitement.
"Aww mugman it's okay I've got you remember? Chalice is here to look.." you showed mugman chalice for a few moments and he emerged but wanted to hide still..
You and chalice entered the baby store and chalice helped you get blue PJs for mugmanas well as diapers,dummy's and bottles....when this was done and dusted you carried the brothers back to your house and chalice followed behind..
You changed both the cup and mug in your room then carried them out to the living room where you and chalice watched them..
"Is it uh..okay if I go now?" She asked
You nodded.
"Yeah thanks for your help" you replied
"Your welcome"
With that she turned into her ghost form and disappeared..
You sat down on the rug with the too baby boys watching them as they played and tried to talk to each other..
"Bffghagha ahhaghagh"
"Bvghabllbaghee"
"Avavabvbveeghee"
"Gheegheevava"
You couldn't help but coo..
"Aww~"
However at one point mugman got tired and fell asleep on his belly on the rug with the dummy you and chalice had got him in his mouth....cuphead unaware of this got worried for his brother and put his hands on him..looking at you with pouchy eyes and quivering lips.
"Bababa?"
"he's just sleeping cuppy" you replied
"Babababybee babamufgh" he mumbled
"I know I know it's alright though he's just tired and sleeping he's okay"
You replied
"Mufg mufg mmbabaaaah~"
His eyes welled up and he started to cry..
"Awwhawhaw cuppyy~" you cooed at his Cuteness but scooped him up off of the sleeping mug into your arms where he grabbed and pulled on your shirt..
"Babamufg~mufggyfg~" he sulked
"Hes okay Cuppy he's okay it's alright he's just sleeping shh shh shhhhh it's alright he's alright sh sh sh shhhhh" you cooed leaving some pecks on his little porcelain face while you were at it.
He calmed down a little bit from your coos but it was ultimately your kisses that cooled him down to sniffles.
"Ba-ba-ybe"
"Yeah?"
"Uv-uvoo"
Did he just say I love you??
"I love you too Cuppy"
You replied and the cup comfy in your arms started to pass out..so you have him his dummy..within seconds he actually passed out completely like a light bulb..you guessed both of them were tired from all the playing and chatting as babies..
It was definitely worth it though absolutely.
You scooped the mug up into your arms gently not to wake him up and pecked the sleeping cup on the cheek before facing the mug and giving him one as well.
"Rest well boys"
